Well what can I say...they got the best Asian artwork that I've seen in a while (Traditional Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese styles). If your looking for tribal or portraits I'd go somewhere else. I waited for 10 years to find the right artist to do my Japanese tattoo work and go figure it was in San Jose and not in Japan. I searched world wide and the only artists that I liked were Horiyoshi III and his Apprentices Horitomo and Horitaka aka Taki, Shige, . Tommy did my sleeves and chest plates. He has great koi and dragon designs. His color work surpasses some of the great Japanese artist in Tokyo,Yokohama,Osaka..... All I got to say is book early and make multiple appointments because he's starting to get booked up. I heard that he's around 1 month wait at this time now, which isn't to bad, as some irezumi artist are booked for 6 months to a 1 year. This guys young in the industry and is not a showy guy but when his artwork get out he will most likely be as great as some of the more famous Asian artists (Horiyoshi, Pinky, Shige) Good luck on your journey Big Steve
My friend and I decided at the spare of the minute to get a tattoo and "Marks of Art" was recommended. Call and was told they couldn't do it until walk-in time @ 4:00. I took my tattoo picture in on my iPhone. We sent it to the shop via email. They were busy had to wait but we knew this. My friend chose a tattoo from the shop. The artist was very creative and did an expert job. I have already recommended this shop to a friend and would again. Just remember they are very busy and best to call and make an appointment.
im going to keep this short...cause dbd needs no explanation on why this would be the one spot to get your tatts done at...presitge artist, custom work, friendly environment... pricey but its ALL worth it... im devote myself to the store, and i recommend everyone whos looking to get a tattoo to this store. artist recommendation....schmoe, paco, chronic joe...actually all of them...they all are outrageous artist and you will leave the store itching to run back in and get another tattoo.
this shop is one of the best tattoo shops in san jose to get some great work done. the artists work with you if you have an existing idea or they'll help create something completely specific to you. my sister and i only get our work done there and though a bit pricey, it is a great investment that you carry with you forever. i recommend this shop to all of my friends that want to get work done.
New generation's shop is very clean and organized. Billy is an excellent tattoo artist and he made sure that i was satisfied with his work before proceeding to start tattooing. He paid attention to detail and made sure that the tattoo was to my liking. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for a tattoo.
New shop in town close to home :) The shop is clean, sterile, friendly. No rockstar attitudes there and amazing artwork!! I'm getting a back piece done by Vic Martinez and he is very talented and patient. Very relaxing atmosphere and I would recommend to all my friends :)
Awesome shop! Very clean and comfortable. Vic is an amazing artist with a lot of great ideas. He is very patient. My friend got a 3 hour realism piece done and it looks better than the picture! Definitely coming back and telling everyone about this place.
