My daughter and her family took us to this restuarant last night on our recent visit t Portland. We were immediately impressed by its child-friendliness and its casual atmosphere. I ordered a local beer and the very pleasant and energetic waitress offerd me to try a local beer before ordering it. I thought that was a good idea as I like good dark beer but not a bitter one. I ordered a slow cooked lamb and others other dishes. I was happy to see that th e portion size was not too large and I did not have to leave the plate still half full. My wife and family members too enjoyed their respective dishes. My lamb dish was marinated in oragano, garlic and cumin. It was delecious. All in all it was good experience.

First of all this is a place that not only has amazing food but excellent customer service as well. The Chef's table was delicious and the fact that I found myself being introduced to it by the chef himself was refreshing. He catered to people's allergies and did so with a smile. I have no idea where else you can get a 5 course meal for $20.00 and a glass of wine with excellent atmosphere and customer service too. Check it out on Thursdays at 7:00 I'll likely be there too anxious to see what amazing meal will be prepared!!
Please let the waiter know that you car has an alarm that likes to go off over and over and over and over again, the kind of car you drive. Today it is a Porsche LOL Beautiful facility and I asked a tour bus driver from Seattle why they stopped here. quick response CHEAP So it is great for family outings on a budget, or dads weekend with the kids, or for those that don't work at Nike, Intel, or OHSU Personally I prefer the Loving Hut (vegan) or Higgins on SW Broadwayss
Our experience was very positive. The flavors were outstanding and the presentations were delightful. Our waitress was very attentive and a true professional. I especially appreciate her suggestion when trying to determin a common vocabulary of taste and favorite food choices. Iorio will be placed at the top of my list of favorite places for dining and attention.
Great food. Great service, and great atmosphere. Went for lunch and had a great salad and calzone. My friend had soup and salad. It was all great. The owner Pat came and said hello to us and was so funny and friendly. Plus they bake! Bought a bunch of Italian cookies home and kids loved them. My new favorite dessert and lunch spot. A must visit.
Ernestos is a nice family owned Italian restaurant. It has awesome food and friendly service. I have eaten here plenty of times, and have always enjoyed myself. Anyone that wants a good home cooked meal with great service, should come and experience it. Become a regular like most of our customers.
We stayed at a B & B down the street from this place. This place was great! Scratch made Ravioli, pastas, lasagna, etc. Megan was our Server. She was awesome at making menu suggestions! I had the butternut squash Ravioli with a pint of their seasonal on tap. Great job, folks!
I love their salad, soup and breadsticks. For the those who like to eat a lot, the "endless pasta" is perfect for you. Some of the items on the menu that I've tried are okay, but not outstanding. The wait to get in is sometimes quite long.
This has quick become a Friday night favorite of ours. We sit at the bar and have a great time with Chino, the bartender. Love the Draper Chicken, chicken liver crostini, risotto and pasta dishes. It's a great place with delicious food!
By far, the best Italian bakery in Portland. Love all of the food.......,The breads are out of this world and the pastries are second to none! Just like Nana used to cook! The owner, Pat, always makes you feel like family!!!!
