We love Caffe Pranzo! Its a cute little place, it can be casual but the romantic lighting and wine selection make it a perfect place for a date or special occasion. We hate poor service, and thats another thing we like here is the consitency of their service. We always get their ceasar salad which has just enough spice and is never drowning in the dressing, my husband and I have had at least 1/2 of the entree's on the menu and I can't think of one we didnt like. You have to get the NY cheesecake- it's huge and comes with a yummy vanilla and raspberry sauce. Also I have to say the prices are great- we can get out of there for under 50.00 for the 2 of us and thats with wine and dessert. My only compaint?- I always get too full! The person who said the lasanga was not good is crazy- my husband always gets it when he cant decide what he wants b/c its always good. last thing- they have a crazy collection of salt and pepper shakers- different ones at each table-all kinds of little themes. it's cute.

Trattoria is a great new restaurant in downtown, located a block south of the civic center. right from the time you enter this restaurant you are transformed, the hosts greet you with a smile, a magnificent wine display shows off their affordable wines and you can see right into the kitchen where all the fabulous cooking is going on. The food we had was some of the best i have had in okc in a very long time. We had the rigatoni buttera, tuna saltimbocca and the filet with gorgonzola ravioli. Not only was the food great it was presented beautifully. Our sever was able to answer any question we had about the food and paired our wines to match the items perfectly. If you want a night out and a great experience in dinning go to this one of a kind restaurant you will not be disappointed. You will have wished you found it earlier and you most definitely will tell all your friends. Last but not least it is extremely affordable so even if you are on a budget you can still have a great experience.
I ate here last week, and was greatly impressed. Although it cost a bit more than some of the other Italian resturants, I imediatly knew where that money went. The food was amazing (the chicken was fresh, something you will never find in a chain), and the wine list was impressive. Our server, Mindy was very friendly, and the bartender had an extensive knowledge of the wine list. (Oh and they actually served the wine in a real glass, not the 9oz saftey glass you get at some wine bars!) I sat on the "adult side" as our server called it, which was a slightly more formal, adult-only half of the resturant. They also had a more family-friendly side, for those with kids. At the end of our meal I was surprised that the owner of the resturant came out to personally thank us for comming out. Now thats something you simply dont see anymore. All-in-all a great experiance, and a new place to add to my "favorites" list.
Well being Italian in Oklahoma has it's let downs (no good Italian Restaurants), then a friend of mine told me about Papa Dio's.First of all I could not find it, then when I did it looked like there was no seats because the parking lot was full. I had my wife go in to see how long the wait was and they said we have more seats than parking spots so we can seat you right now. When we went in it was like going back home to the neighborhood hole in the wall joint. They had everything I missed, eggplant parmigiana, clam sauce, they even had real Cannoli. Well now my life in Oklahoma is complete, it's now the best place in the world to live and I can even get real Italian food at Papa Dio's. Thanks John that's the best recommendation I ever got!
This is Oklahoma's finest restaurant. The menu is primary European American cuisine featuring a lot of Italian dishes. The lasagna, caprese, pot roast, and tilapia are great. The chef specials are over the top. The atmosphere is elegant and inviting. Although the wine list covers a vast array and is exceptional, the price for most wine bottles are a bit high. I highly recommend the cheese plate and strawberry shortcake. This is a high end splurge restaurant. Overall, this restaurant is very satisfying.
hey, if you are on southside okc, your really need to try tuscany pizzeria,NOW! The pizza I ordered was just that, what I ordered, is what I got and then some!Toppings that are fresh, cheese that tastes as good as it looks covering the pizza.Fresh cut mushrooms and onions.Value, wow, The pizza I got would have been at least 21.00 anywhere else at one of those cookie cutter places.Give it a shot, Your belly will be full, and your wallet too!!
This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Oklahoma City. Family owned and operated, it has authentic Italian cuisine at fabulous prices. They even have lunch specials. My husband and I found this place through a coupon, and even thoug its about 10 miles from us, we drive there to eat all the time, and have never had a bad meal. I highly, highly recommend. Great service - great prices - great food!
It's a real mom and pop operation, not a chain restaurant like so many others here. My waiter had been there for 16 years and he said the owner started it 30 years ago. I had the trieste sauce, I don't know how to say it but man was it awesome. The house salad was fresh and the rolls were hot and tasted like they just baked them. Oh and they had my favorite wine Wild Hosre Merlot to top it off.
I've enjoyed Spaghetti Warehouse since I was young. This was our first visit to the one in Bricktown, but I was not disappointed. We were seated at a nice corner table within 20 minutes on a Saturday evening. The food was really good, and the service was even better! I recommend it...especially for families. Spaghetti Warehouse has a memorable, fun ambiance.
If you want real Italian food, this is the place to eat.... family owned and operated, delicious fresh food, great friendly service always..... the ingredients are high quality and authentic. ..... the house dressing is my favorite..... and you can't go wrong with any of the pasta sauces.... yummmm
