This hidden Gem has all the talent of Madison ave without the attitude !!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming OMG what a concept. It is always clean, bright and cheerful in there. ANNA is an insanely talented colorist and the ONLY person I trust to touch my hair. I have very dark brown hair which other "stylists" have attempted to lighten in the past and they ended up damaging my hair and turning it orange. Needless to say, I was so hesitant to try going lighter after my bad experiences. I am SO GLAD I found ANNA. She turned my hair from blah brown to bronde beauty in ONE sitting. She is seriously so amazingly talented and knowledgeable with color. She caters her work to each individual client and knows how to lighten with little to no damage to the hair. So glad I found her!!! 4 sessions in and never turning back.I am going to try the waxing studio they just re-opened, the young lady giving the treatments is apparently AMAZING!

Gabriel is amazing! His prices are better than anyone else and for such a great experience. He opened his own salon in two great locations New York City on 57th Street & Greenwich, CT. The place is amazing and the best part is it has it's own ventilation where he does the Brazilian Keratin treatment. He is thorough and quick and my Brazilian lasts much longer when I get it from him than when I ever got it from anyone else. I just let my hair air dry. No frizz, no fuss. The treatment is especially awesome before going on vacation! I have naturally curly hair, So far.. I haven't even touched my hair iron! I washed my hair about four times, i've been using the recommended products and i have to say it is perfect! He really knows hair, how to treated and make it better. His salon is perfect and you'll feel really comfortable. I am so happy I found this salon my hair is shiny, silky soft and completely frizz free.
I'm there at Macy's herald square aleast once a week. My Offices are only 2 blocks away.I've never ventured off to the basement area before. Anyway, to my surprise I came across oneblowdrybar. It looked amazing , Like it should be at Bloomingdales instead. The customer service was terrific & they had fit me right in without an appointment . Francesca had done a awesome blowout on me. I'm excited that my favorite store has this upscale blow dry bar. If I hadn't ventured off to the basement, I wouldn't have known about the oneblowdrybar. Macy's should have signs around the store , it's a hot commodity these days! I looked everywhere and no signs. I had even went on macys webisite and no mention of it . I did see a 15'sec , vague video by the elevators on the first floor. It was so vague , I thought it was an advertisement for makeup. When I finally left the store, I had put the two & Two together.
About 2 months ago I returned to the beautiful Fabio Doti salon and received the Brazilian keratin treatment. Fabio did an amazing job as always!!! I am thrilled with the results. No more blow drying or flat ironing my hair, I can just wash & go!!! Fabio and his staff are warm, welcoming, and friendly. The entire staff makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door, you are pampered so much so that you will not want to leave! Going to the Fabio Doti salon does not just feel like an appointment with a hair stylist, but it also feels like a visit with old friends! TODAY I went back to the salon and got blonde highlights done and I am in LOVE with them!!! The colorist at the salon is beyond amazing. My highlights are natural looking and brighten up my entire complexion. Thanks again Fabio & staff =)
I came into New York for a wedding and had to get a hair cut. It was unmanageable. I hadn't realized I have been so busy lately that I neglected a few things. Luckily, one of the other bridesmaids told me about Kazuki at &Hair Lounge. I kept complimenting her on her hair, how shiny and bouncy it was so she directed me to her stylist. At the last moment, I had the urge to add some blonde in my burnette hair. I don't know what I was thinking. I never make unexpected decisions! New place, around new people. Maybe that is why I had enough nerve to try something new. Kazuki was a perfectionist. I have since come back home and hate to inform everyone, but I can't find anyone to replicate what Kazuki did. I am headed to New York in two weeks. Need I say more?
Best Eyebrow Aesthetician in NYC. I first met Varvara when she was working at Warren Tricomi and have been seeing her for about 5 years. As a guy, it's really hard to find someone who can do eyebrows that don't look feminine and Varvara knows exactly what to do. She is truly an artist and takes her time. You won't leave until she's happy, and more importantly, until you are happy. She listens and really understands what you want. She has an amazing eye and can tell you exactly what is best for your face. She has clientele across the country and travels from NY/NJ to LA each month, very flexible hours, and makes herself available for you. Thank me later.
Jacob is amazing! I have short hair and ever since moving back from LA April of 2011 it’s been my mission to get the “perfect haircut.” Having short hair, I get my haircut 6 weeks or so. After many many failed attempts to get what I wanted and find a stylist I liked, I finally met Jacob. Jacob is a true artist when it comes to hair. His attention to detail and precision while cutting leads to amazing results. The salon itself is topnotch; the staff is super friendly, attentive and it has an amazing vibe overall. Fabio is fantastic and truly cares about each and every customer.I highly recommend the salon and highly recommend Jacob!
I moved over from the UK and was looking for somewhere i could regularly get a good quality guys haircut at affordable prices and I gave the Fabio Doti Salon a go. Fabio is a good guy, he's always looking to improve on his last cut, he's a bit of a perfectionist in some ways which is great. The Salon is very modern, its never over crowded you don't feel like you're on a conveyor belt which can sometimes happen in the Salon chains. The support staff are also excellent, really nice people, very friendly and chatty which makes you feel very welcome. I would recommend you gave it a try, If you go once you'll go back again I’m sure.
My girlfriend brought me into & Hair Lounge a few weeks ago for MY haircut. We were going to see her parents and for me it was meeting them for the first time. Ally kept saying her dad was in the military and my longer hair wouldn't cut it. Of course wanting to impress my girlfriends ( soon to be fiance ) family, I told her let's cut it before I changed my mind. To be honest, I am glad Edison didn't disappoint. Some say there's nothing to cutting mens hair. I think there is. I have had bad cuts before. Not everyone can cut hair. Def. worth the money and the wait. Much thanks to Edison
New job means new ... lots of things!! I went into New York to get a complete makeover before I went on my job interview. I work in front of the camera a lot and wanted something new that reflected who I was. I went into &Hair Lounge for my appointment at 2pm with Hiro and was out a few hours later with an eye catching hair cut and a few light auburn like highlights on top of my head. Not to toot my own horn but I looked FABULOUS! What a perfect way to end a "makeover for me" day. Thanks Hiro You are The Best! * I got the job!
