        Poor service!

        We were traveling from Sacramento to Downey when our tire busted. We had our van towed to the nearest Pep Boys. Their store has the 'store promise' printed in large fonts. The service we received from that place was totally opposite of what we were promised. First, the clerk, Rafael Cisneros could not read the correct part # from the computer to write on the paper. He got it right at the third try! Then we were told the parts are available and our van will be ready in an hour. We waited and waited and finally called Pep Boys. Rafael had left for the day and the person answering the phone said that Rafael should have notified us that our van will be kept overnight and will not be ready until noon the next day. This created a lot of inconvenience to us. Rafael was not very apologetic the next day and did not give us much discount for the poor service. They also did not reset the tire light so the light would go on while driving. We had to ask another mechanic (not PepBoys) to reset it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Staff is not friendly at all.
