They sold me a car that had been in several accidents and had structural damage. I had to go to the Consumer Protection Unit through the Attorney Generals Office to have them take ownership of the car back and settle with the finance company. They still owe me over $400 that they have not responded to in correspondence so now I must take them to civil court as well to obtain it. BEWARE when you go in there after obtaining a vehicle from them and the first thing that comes out of their month it "Delaware doesn't have a Buyer's Remorse Law". That's what they told me. You would think anyone who plasters "Ask to see the CarFax" everywhere would have pulled one up on each car they purchase to sell the public... I never asked them for one as I thought all of them would be satisfactory if they are going to sell them to someone and plaster such everywhere. Surely they would have already seen it themselves and not have a car as bad as this one was! But guess what, the CarFax that a local dealership pulled up on it for me showed the ugly truth...several accidents an structural damage. I was told by the owner of Intellicar personally that there was no way they would know about things wrong with the vehicles they purchase... What? They don't pull the CarFax themselves? I DO NOT BELIEVE they do not know... and even if that was true...do you want to buy a vehicle from a place that does not know anything about the car they are selling you? From the first time I opened the vehicle door and asked what the smell in it I was smelling was, I was misled. On the short test drive, I asked about things I heard and felt and the salesperson explained it all away as nothing to be concerned about. Oh sure... they acted like they wanted to make everything right when I came back with the car... several times in fact because things kept going wrong with it. I got along with them all... while I thought they were trying to help me... but once I realized what they really did.
I purchased a 2003 Hummer and Armando, the owner? and the salesman told me the original owner had just put a new transmission and new brake lines in. Within 500 miles the transmission stopped working and the fan motor stopped working and the trailer lights stopped working. I brought it back and they put a new solenoid in the transmission and supposedly put a new fan motor in and got the trailer lights working. Within 350 miles all three stopped working. My mechanic pulled the solenoid and said that metal shavings were clogging the filter and the transmission needed to be replaced. He also said that the fan motor had never been replaced and they must've tapped it with a tool until it started working again which is why it only worked for a short time and then stopped. I called into the dealership, Armando picked up and then hung up on me. I tried to call back repeatedly, He wouldn't answer the phone. He called back 15 minutes later in a belligerent tone and then hung up on me once again after trying to interrupt me in mid conversation. Their warranty company has not gotten back to me. I'm supposed to have a warranty for the engine and transmission but I can't get a callback.
