The technician came for our yearly maintenance review on my 7 appliances. I felt it wasn't the best service as in the past. He did six of the appliances and then another tech came for the dryer. Why I don't know. Felt it could have been better.
I have had more than 5 service calls trying to get my washer fixed. The responding technician has always been prompt an courteous. However, he is hampered by a system that continually sends out the wrong parts and just puts you back in the queue for a followup service call, after more parts are shipped, a process that has been taking 10 days for each failed call. Calling Sears has not been helpful. What I have been told by the representatives is that (1) they have no capability to escalate a problem for higher priority service when Sears failures are delaying repairs; (2) there is no supervisor; (3) there is no empathy for the customer who only wants to get their product fixed in a reasonable time frame; and (3) Sears can't reliably tell you when or how many boxes of parts have been shipped. I am hoping that by the beginning of the new year I will have my washer repaired, a process I started in early October. But I am not holding my breath.
My yearly service on my washer and dryer was great, as always. The technician was professional and friendly.

I liked how they keep you very informed about arrival time. Problem was semi solved can still use dryer just not at the settings I prefer. It does work properly
My repair was for my icemaker in my refrigerator. The technician who came to my house spent ten minutes in my house said he ordered the part it would be at my house in three days, the part came five business days later. when the same technician came back he was complaining about having a bad day. He replaced my ice bucket said it was fixed I told him that wasn't going to make the icemaker work. He ordered the wrong part, I told him he said it wasn't him, but I said check the record. needless to say it was another week before my icemaker was fixed. This is the worst refrigerator I have ever owner the icemaker breaks every two or three years. it always takes at least two to three weeks before I get ice again. this technician told my father-in-law they aren't making parts for this refrigerator anymore and he hopes this works and doesn't know how long this latest fix was going to work, just a horrible experience. I will not buy another appliance from Sears again
The fellow dispatched to service our Sears Craftsman tractor, was very courteous, efficient, and accomplished the job in quick order. We got the same serviceman we had last year. He deserves a 5 star rating. We did, however, have an extraordinary amount of difficulty in arranging the warranty service we had paid for, and because of the way we were treated would seriously consider NEVER going into a Sears store again. It is a shame when the customer knows more about the product ($360/yr warranty) than those charged with administering the product. I spoke to at least four individuals with limited abilities to speak English, one who wanted to charge me a $149 for a service charge, one who was willing to cancel my warranty and send me a $50 gift card, another who I really never understood. I asked several times to speak with a supervisor, only to be transferred to another person that knew less about the issue, and had no solution I felt lucky that someone actually showed up.
Very disappointed; service man NEVER even looked at the dishwasher-stated last time he deamed it unrepairable. Had to go to Annapolis mall where I purchased it and got a replacement - a week later.
The Sears repair guy was able to come fix what was wrong with my heater/furnace the very next day after I called. He didn't take a long time replacing what needed to be replaced. I have used Sears once before now to fix my appliances and I will continue to use them. They always do a great job!
