Don't take your kids here my kids went there for prek and my daughter for daycare I seen so many different teachers some looking like they don't want to be there the 3 year old class with one teacher and babies to care for charging me $140 a week. The owner is a lier the school was under investigation from Dfcs several parents complaint about the teachers being loud to the kids and she was charging $100 dollars a month for lunch knowing the school is funded by the state. Well after paying for 6 months I confront her and all she say is that was a mistake. My 3 year old never learn anything I pay $560 a month out of my pocket for her to go play Legos all day.
My Grandchildren attend this school. I am happy to say that they have been well cared for and loved for several years. They are intelligent & respectful. I am thankful for the positive role the owner of this school has played in all of their lives!
Maddie L if you saw what I saw while I was working there please report them! They did the same thing to me. They had me taking care of even more. For the safety of my own children I just didn't show up one day.
If I could give this place Zero stars I would! Do not send your kids to this facility. I worked here for three days and it was horrible. First off , she (Mrs Shakoohi) hired me on the spot without checking my references. I also wasn't given any paperwork for pay or anything else. On the first day I was by myself with 10 toddlers plus an infant. I had to change 7 children by myself with no help. No one came to my aid and they saw how many children there were. I was with the kids from 7:45 until 5:30 and I had no breaks. Also the children eat once and the amount of food they get is very small. They have snack time, but if the kids ask for more, Mrs Shakooi will not give it to them. Today , I got a call from Mr. Shakooi stating that they didn't need me today at 7:45, mind you I already drive 35 minutes to get here. The place is unprofessional. Not to sound racist but they are foreign so I personally think that they were trying to get over on me. Also note that they offered to pay me 7.25 to take care of 10 children for 9 hours! Again I stress to you please do not send your child here. This place needs to be shut down. They are using the money from the state and calling it Montessori when it really isn't.
Amazing! I wanted a place for my daughter that felt like home, with owners and staff that would treat her as their own, while building on what she learns in school. Inspiring Scholars is it. I have seen such great results with my daughter's grades, especially with the Georgia Milestones bootcamp. They do a great job with helping with homework, providing the kids with great tips and different ways of approaching the work. The two sisters who own this academy are great women who genuinely care about the children and their families. The are constantly giving back to the community and continue to inspire all around them. They offer transportation services as well, further helping working parents. So grateful to them for helping me shape a well rounded, academically prepared child. Thanks!
I will start by saying if you care about your children then don't send them to this school. My son there for a limited amount of time. He was there long enough to know there was never any toilet paper in the facility. Lunch was nothing at all but spoonfuls of items and not up to date items. THe children are aloowed out in the cold without jackets. and when you go in to try to observe the class you get yelled out saying not allowed. My son has been disciplined by the teacher mrs. shooki who hardly speaks english and looks down at the parents. No one should discipline my child and yet I was not told my son cried not to go to there because of how he was treated. I pulled my son out because all the negative reviews are true and came to light for me and i feel awful I put my son in that situration.
The International Academy is a wonderful school for children. The owner, Mrs. Shokoohi, is dedicated to the children. She is at the school from early morning to late afternoon and always accessible to answer any questions, The teachers truly care about the children and provide students with a nurturing learning environment. The Montessori method is an excellent method to use for children. Children are able to reach their full potential and are able to strive in the learning environment. If you want your child to have the best education, I would highly recommend the International Academy. It is one of the best schools in Georgia.
Outstanding education and family oriented school!!Since my son has been a student at Omega, his academics and behavior have vastly improved. When he first enrolled, he was entering the 6th grade, but testing at 3rd/4th grade levels for both reading and math. Now, my child is entering 8th grade this up coming school year, and his placement test scores are at a 7.8 (7.8= that's a 7th grade 8th month into the year skill set) grade placement. This is a monumental improvement in just two years time!My son's attitude and behavior have improved as well! The teachers understand him, listen to him, and make him feel that his thoughts and actions have worth...value. This was a struggle in public schools where most teachers couldn't or wouldn't take the time to understand my child's struggles with ADHD and dyslexia. The school is amazing, the staff is beyond incredible, the director/owner is unlike any educator I've ever met, she cares about every single one of her students and knows them all very well! I highly recommend Omega Learning Center, and Omega Private Academy for any student!
