Hi Becky:Same here. After 2 1/2 years, I can confirm that is their MO. They fix a little here, a little there. They drag their feet, and "yes" you to death until you become completely aggravated. Jose is actually a nice man-- he's just super overworked, so I guess he's decided he'll get to it when he gets to it. Dealing with Jaritza is like dealing with Jeckyll and Hyde. As long as you agree with her and do what she says, she's ever so pleasant. As soon as you protest, she becomes rude, petty, condescending and so unprofessional. She doesn't get it that WE are the clients. Among several issues, this is by far the worst. I've been without AC since last Thursday. I waited patiently for Hurricane Irma to pass and called on Monday, only to be yelled at by Jaritza. Called again today and they came out--only to say they couldn't get the part because their supplier is closed AND THEY MIGHT NOT EVEN GET IT BECAUSE IT'S SO OLD/OBSOLETE. Today is the 6th day with no AC for my baby, who is breaking out in a heat rash! Her excuse is that everything is closed in her part of town (South Dade). Not acceptable. I live in Broward and their responsibility does not cease because they have too much going on after the hurricane. This is a business. They should not take on a property--in another county--because they are not competent enough to have a vendor in the local area. They insist that I have to use the only AC co they have. So basically, they want me to sit in 100 degrees until they figure it out. This is called negligence and greed. They've been out here for the AC at least 8x in the last 2 1/2 years. They just keep putting bandaids on, instead of replacing the super ancient unit. Please see Yelp for another similar experience.
Positive Realty rented to me an apartment that was in foreclosure, which I did not find out until I was served with paper. Furthermore, they attempted to scam me trying to get me to pay water bill that in the contract stated was the landlord's responsibility. They made a mistake and tried to leave the responsibility on me. I mentioned some issues with the apartment that needed fixing and the realtor stated that they had a handyman that would come fix them, that necer happened. They will promise things over the phone or in person but dont trust them. If you chose to do business with them get everything in writing. Not reliable or trustworthy.
Very nice place I say the only bad thing is a fat non english speaking security guard that works there that smells horrible. In the morning time he's smelled so bad he's made me nauseous before and you always see him with a cigarette yapping away in Spanish on his cell phone.I pay maintenance fees to pay for his salary yet he cannot communicate with me or the people that visit me.Absurd! But the place overall is nice. The apartments do not have the thickest walks but the building is very well kept and clean and overlooks a gorgeous golf course.
