Paul T. The flight from Miami to Santa Cruz was great, then we connected to CBBA and it all went well. Unfortunately on the way back it was not so good. I checked that everything was ok a day before my trip back to the U.S. and on the day I was to flight from Santa Cruz to Miami; at the airport counter they could not find my travel information. Once they did, they said that I only had a reservation but not a ticket to flight back. I had the print out and I told they that I had double checked the day before but that didn't help. finally after an hour of suspense, the rep went to check with someone else and came back saying that I was good to go. No apologies or nothing. Very stressful time.
BOA is good third world country airline within Bolivia, but it is not a good legitimate international carrier and tries to scam you. When trying to change dates, every employee gives you a different amount to make a change and a different reason why it is higher. We had an email that stated the price to make a change, went in to make the payment and was told my wife (in the US) had to send a copy of her passport before the change could be made. Emailed copies, daughter took to the office and they had increased the price and additional hundred dollars. When we purchased the tickets, all I had to do was give my wife's passport numbers. I will do my best to get BAO out of the USA
Excellent service head to toe, I traveled with my wife and 3 kids to La Paz for vacation and I'm glad I choose BOA, food was excellent, and the flight was pleasant, the airplane was very clean and the crew was very attentive, I will recommend this airlines to anyone who want to travel to Bolivia or Argentina.
