Located in Donaldsonville, La., Ascension Catholic Diocesan Regional School is a coeducational school that is operated by the Diocese of Baton Rouge, which offers academic services to more than 700 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 in over 15 church parishes. Founded in 1845, the school s core curriculum includes English, mathematics, religion, science, social studies, and health and physical education. Its elective courses include band, biology, computer literacy, and performing and fine arts. Ascension Catholic Diocesan Regional School maintains a band, yearbook team, student council, dance group, and music and drama clubs. It supports a campus ministry program that is an intra-curricular program.
