The Literary Joint Book Store is an African-American owned bookstore. We feature African-American authors and titles, children books, books from the New York Times Best Sellers List, religious titles, self-help books, and a wide range of titles that reflect our customer-base. A large portion of our inventory is built directly from customer feedback. This is what makes us unique. Our employees are extremely knowledgeable about our titles and popular titles on the market and we understand how essential our customers are for our business. Because of this, our employees are very customer-oriented and we strive to provide every customer with an outstanding literary experience. We specialize in book signings where customers can meet and greet their favorite authors. Our Forestville location features a Cafe with a stage for poetry and book readings.
