- Dillingham City Council is the legislative body in Dillingham, Alaska. The city was established in 1972, and operates under the council form of government, which includes the mayor and six council members. It appoints the city clerk, who posts public notices and council meetings, ordinances and resolutions. The city clerk also prepares and maintains the municipal code, attests deeds and other documents, records and certifies all council actions, and administers all oaths required by law. The clerk is custodian of the city seal and official records of the city and is responsible for the calling and supervision of city elections. The council oversees the proper execution of all the departments that include fire, police, public works and finance departments, and a senior care center.
