These Owners are brilliant in the Hotel Business! Clean and Safe! This Motel, Suez and ShorePointe!!
The bed was very comfortable. An older building with appropriate upgrades for the times. Valet parking is the ONLY option.
Worst experience of my golfing experience. First of all, if you have a tee time before 7am, don't bother showing up before then. Had a tee time at 6am with a few friends. The counter boy, Clark, didn't arrive until 6:30 to let us in and by that time, there was already a line to get into the course. After we get thru 9 holes, I run out to my car, in the golf cart to get my phone. I drive back in the cart and Dale goes, apparently you're hard at hearing because me and three other guys were yelling to come back. Mind you, the sign was posted on the OPEN fence to go into the parking lot. I didn't see it until I drove back. Lastly, we get done with 18. Dale goes to his coworkers that this is the guy that drove off into the parking lot and can't hear. I go inside to use the restroom and he is still chirping about itNot one apology from anyone for the experience. I will never golf here again and I advise everyone else not to either. Would not recommend it to anyone.
I use to live at the travel inn the owners are great people and the people that live there been there for years i grew up in neoghborhood so i know everyone that goes there and in the neighborhood so if u need a safe place to stay i suggest the travel inn...
Older property but centrally located and clean. Air conditioned rooms with good showers. Free WiFi. Good diner on site. Within walking distance of downtown attractions. Pleasant and helpful staff. Worth it for a short stay if attending a conference or event near downtown.
Very slow at check in, no air in lobby. We got to our room and the floor had not been vacuumed, mold in the shower, toilet seat was broken, and remote control to the tv was covered in filth. I would and will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Also it is in a bad neighborhood. Signs posted that the hotel is not responsible for damage to vehicles. Will not be going back
I was living at this hotel the Yorba in 2003. The place was a place that was so nasty, it should have been shut down by the state. Roaches running every where. Bed bugs infestation. I did not stay no length of time. I hurry up and got the hell out of there.
Course is much improved under Vargo management. Good shape. Located just two miles from the Country Club of Detroit on very similar grounds. Relatively short. Staff is great. Highly recommended for an affordable golf option within the city of Detroit.
Please be careful young women. Ive ran into some black weirdos here. Rapists and traffickers. Please beware
