This company actually lost my love one! The manager told so many lies over the phone...trying to cover up her mistakes. Please don't ever consider this company for your love o es. Still waiting on the owner to call me back.
Wonderful church and parish. Monsignor Trapper is a phenomenal leader and priest. The members are so friendly and welcoming. Awesome choir, more like Baptist than Catholic. The type of church you would want to call home. Activities 24/7!
The beautiful souls of mother Teresa's order are a blessing in this cummumity
Nice venue, but we weren't the early in line so they ran out of chicken. When I questioned if we could have more chicken I was told eat what was left. Ok then, next time if I want chicken I will stop at NuWave Chicken before I come.
BEWARE - BAIT-AND-SWITCH "Food Pantry"! NOT A REAL FOOD PANTRY!This place claimed to be a FOOD PANTRY over the phone. Upon arrival by bicycle in bad weather, they admitted they were NOT a food pantry, but use that to lure people to come in and listen to them preach. Hungry people can't eat your lies, Brown Ministries! SHAME!
I have many great memories of this church. (Our family (Jalynski's) belonged to this parish when I was about 10 yrs. old. My three younger brothers (Tom, Greg & Danny) attended school there and made their first holy communion as well. I made my confirmation there, my older brother Albie & sister Sandy did also. Well, I could go on & on. This did put me back in time.
Holy Cross is a wonderful piece of Detroit history. The congregation includes many of the best people that I know, and the pastors are wonderful. My family has been part of Holy Cross for years, and some of my friends for generations. Anyone who wants a taste of Hungarian History, Detroit History, and a place to become closer to God should stop by and support this wonderful place.M
