Great place!

Our family loves this place. We've been coming here for years. They have all the best cuts of meat and usually have some pretty sweet deals going on.

basically a meat lovers paradise

One of the best wholesale stores in the D for sure. Everytime I go in there its like being a kid in a candy store, only a meat lover in a meat store!!!! :) Friendly service, great selection, and always has great deals.

In the late 1960's my grandpa Bud Flanary was living at the Allan Park Lode Motel in Allan Park Mi, In 1969 He opened a meat store with his brother Tom the store was Cattleman's. Bud and Tom had a falling out and my grandpa changed the name of the store on 4004 E. Eight mile Rd to Kansas City Beef and in 1973 he came up with the meat Bundle. After selling sides of beef the recession had taken its toll on the economy so he made the bundle to stay in business because people weren't buying sides of beef they didn't have the money. Piquette sells out of dadte meat in there bundles, before it was piquette it was called Meat Land and they were shut down for selling bad meat the same people own it they just changed there name.

If you think this is a hoax go down to the Detroit Public Library and look in the1973 Detroit phone book under butcher shops and you'll find the listing for Kansas City Beef and go look at the October/November 1973 newspaper reel and in the TV guide ad section you'll see an ad for a kansas city beef Bundle.

Every meat store in Business now in the Detroit area is stealing my grandpa's idea and making money off if he closed in 1989 because his wifes family begged them to leave Detroit and move to Florida it's one of his biggest regrets in life. So remember when you buy bundles from places like Piquette or any other store like Bob's Quality meats or Black Angus think of Kansas City Beef
