Giovanni's Ristorante

The food is impeccable. The atmosphere is inviting. And the service is second to none!! I took my mother there for her 76th birthday dinner and we had a wonderful time. The food is so good and I love Italian. The atmosphere is definitely 5 star but you don't have to get dressed for dinner. You can keep it casual and comfortable. And you couldn't ask for a more attentive and friendly waitress than ours. She brought my mother her dessert and placed a candle on it for her to blow out and also gave her a slice of tirramisu to take home. She even gave my mother a peck on her cheek and wished her a Happy Birthday. She made us feel like we were family. It's still and will always be my favorite restaurant in the world.

This place is one of the jewels in the Detroit area and has best selection of pastas.

The pasta just melts in your mouth. Our waiter was very good and our dinners were great. I'd definately go back!

...My wife and I eat here every year on our anniversary. In fact today is our 20th and we are looking forward to a great meal this evening. The food is very good, the atmosphere is nice (we don't take our kids and we rarely see children in there). The make their own pasta and have an extensive wine menu. If you aren't familiar with the area use their valet service.
