Chandler Park Golf Course

Worst experience of my golfing experience. First of all, if you have a tee time before 7am, don't bother showing up before then. Had a tee time at 6am with a few friends. The counter boy, Clark, didn't arrive until 6:30 to let us in and by that time, there was already a line to get into the course.

After we get thru 9 holes, I run out to my car, in the golf cart to get my phone. I drive back in the cart and Dale goes, apparently you're hard at hearing because me and three other guys were yelling to come back. Mind you, the sign was posted on the OPEN fence to go into the parking lot. I didn't see it until I drove back.

Lastly, we get done with 18. Dale goes to his coworkers that this is the guy that drove off into the parking lot and can't hear. I go inside to use the restroom and he is still chirping about it

Not one apology from anyone for the experience. I will never golf here again and I advise everyone else not to either. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Course is much improved under Vargo management. Good shape. Located just two miles from the Country Club of Detroit on very similar grounds. Relatively short. Staff is great. Highly recommended for an affordable golf option within the city of Detroit.

Well, as a boy who grew up on the east side of Detroit, I went past the golf course almost everyday! I graduated high school 6 blocks from the golf course at Detroit Servite High. As for now, I love the game of golf and have been playing for about 4 years now. I started playing at Chandler Park and the course was terrible. I must honestly say, I have seen a drastic improvement in the upkeep of this course. I play there frequently and it is as challenging as any in the area and I have played them "all"! As for the woman who commented that she wouldn't return because of the area, I say to her, " In order to make a change we have to start with ourselves". I think Chandler Park Golf Course is a very good course and those looking for a very nice day on a nice course, come visit Chandler Park!
