The Cathedral has stood at the heart of Detroit's cultural center in Midtown since it's dedication in 1911. Designed by Ralph Adams Cram, the building is well known for it's woodwork, stained glass, the Pewabic tile floor and for it's music program. Tours are offered on the second Sunday of each month but the church is open for private tours and for prayer and meditation during weekdays.
