WHAT HAS HAPPEN??!!This has been my favorite Mexican eatery for 30 yrs when the plant was open!Sadly in the last 5 yrs or so it is Changing & the quality of the food is declining & Carry-Out management when it comes to errors & burned entrees has been terrible for a Long time! The Salsa has Changed & it was So Good & its Watery & bland! WHAT CHIMICHANGA? They are so small now! The Pork Sandwich had a Very subtle "ODD" taste when our party visited in May,we've ordered them many times but 2 of us couldn't eat ours!! The nachos changed last fall & they've skimped & the taste is no longer there! Our guest had Tacos & it was embarrassing after I saw what they gave her, you would have thought it could NEVER be AUTHENTIC, it was dry, very lil meat, no sauce, absolutely NO TASTE, not Warm, 3 lil diced tomatoes, the plate was bare & unAppetizing! Would have got better at Taco Bell. You expect more authenticity from this institution, Armando HAD such a Good reputation & food! We were frequent patrons, Mothers Day, Easter, Cinco de Mayo & any time the urge hit "often"! Sorry No more. Every1 gave it thumbs-down.

Dine at your own risk

I'm basing my opinion out of about 4 visits to Armando's. The servers and waitstaff are attentive, however, the food is a different story. My last visit wasn't by choice and was probably the worst experience out of the 4. First of all, we ordered the queso flameado, which means ""flaming"" cheese, but it was anything but that. The cheese tasted old and not only was it not flaming, but it was cold and the oil was already separating from it! Next was my entree, which was the shrimp fajitas. They weren't horrible, I just wish they were more generous w/the shrimp and the tortillas weren't fake (I consider myself a tortilla connoisseur). My friend described her margarita as ""ice w/lime"" and she complained that the tomatoes were bad (she had to run to the bathroom to spt 'em up). This is coming from someone that can eat a tomato like an apple. After all of that - my waitress charged me for the cheese that she initially asked if I wanted w/my fajitas, and I had told her ""just on the side"", but meanwhile, my other friends had a cheese overkill on their fajitas and didn't get charged 1 cent. Hmmm. Sooo, dine at your own risk.

My two favorites

The Wet Burrito Supreme. The ultimate meal with the bean dip. Next is the Flaming Cheese, to bad you can;t get to go.

Especially on a buffet (smile). Love your food but I have just got to try something other than Cheese Enchiladas. If the rest of your menu is just a good....I probably never go home. Keep up the good work.......

Their botanas is like no other!

I especially crave the botanas from Armando's. I can not wait to eat this generous combination of the soft and crunchy morsels of beans, taco chips, advocados and onions with the melted swirl of mouth watering cheeses. I have not experienced this satisfaction at no other mexican restaurant! When I do dine else where I compare every meal to Armando's. And Armando wins hands down!

Best Mexican Food in the World

I have been to many (many) Mexican Restaurants before and I (and my boyfriend) have NEVER found anyone better than Armando's. We've tried food in Mexico and Texas and they still couldn't beat Armando's. It's our favorite place to eat when it comes to Mexican food!
