I really hate to say but today I had the worst experience ever at Lafayette Laundry! This place has been known for it's customer service and cleanliness but today customer service was at it worst! After being let in right before 8pm around 8:20 the Laundry guy " D-Ray " who seems to be a little crazy. Starts yelling 20 moe minutes! After getting sick of being yelled at I tell him it's very rude of you to yell a count down out! Many would say it's getto and rude! I understand you all close at 9pm I have been here many times before, but if you have to lock the doors at 9pm you all should stop letting people in at 7:30pm. What made it worst was his inability to behave in a professional manor. It's not what you say it's how you say it. I told him I'm sorry but I refuse to leave out with super wet clothes. He calls the owner and her reply to sum it up. " Well he does that " yell " out the count down because it seems to work, but I will speak with him. But we close at 9:00pm it's in our Lease" Moving forward I find it to be extremely sad that the owner didn't really seem to care that her worker who again " seems a bit crazy " was rude, disrespectful and ignorant to a long time customer. I will never ever tell anyone to go here after today! A Business is nothing without great workers that support it.
Very friendly place. Fast and efficient. It's a laundromat with regular prices. 2.50 for a wash and dryer works on increments. Good price, plenty of chairs to wait and no one disturbs you.
the machines are clean and awalys working the place is open 24 hoiurs
Keith Williams is a very hard working young man who works hard there. The other workers are very hardworking too. They keep the place clean and handle customers problems or are just very helpful to them in general. Their bosses are to be commended too. Keep up the great work and your business will soar like an eagle and shine bright as the sun!
Great Place and nice service. 5 Min from downtown Detroit
