I ordered a grill cheese called the "Leo D" which has tomatoes and onions on it. My 7 yr old could've made a better one. It was also cold. I ordered 2 Patron Margarita and they ran out of Patron (??? before 1 p.m.????). So we ordered them with tequila and they were served in plastic cups!!($7) a cup... Who does that!!! The waitress we had was "very anti-social"!! We had to ask for everything!!. She never brought the water we asked for but she immediately brought the bill.... We should've known upon walking in that if it was that empty on opening day that it wasn't a good idea. We should've went to The Rub or even a Coney Island would have been better.
Very nice owner, friends well u no how "fo sho" bro's. Don't judge a bar or book by its cover exterior get to no the interior before judgement. Fool me one shame on you fool me twice shame on me!!!!!! Very friendly peeps don't get to close you will get diminished and hurt as all bar hoppers do. Excellent learning experience and entertainment. Must give this bar a chance "FO SHO". Word of advice "A snake will always slide around, but wen he puts the venue on you and won't help to say your life, it's a snake leave it alone to itself and let the jungle take it out.
Security weak as heck. Kicked me and my boyfriend out for no reason. They didn't even ask us to leave they just jumped on him and drug him out. Never in life go there again
Had a great time. Laid back place with really cute girls. Food was very good and not too pricy. I'll be back!
The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, I would recommend you to only order the chicken which was good. I didn't care for the fries. The band was great this is my 3rd time coming back. The show never starts at 10, so you can eat and drink a little before the show starts. They have a great clear sound system, don't be fooled by the outside the inside is nice and cozy with a lot of room. I will definitely return again, if it's the Lord's will.
This place is great! Its a bit hard to find and not in the greatest of neighborhoods but truely a great place. The people were super friendly not to mention Nikki the owner is a true sweetheart. "Britany" the bartender was a doll and made the visit well worth repeating and we will certainly be back first chance we get. St. Patty's Day was filled with a number of different bars but hands down, Nikki's Place was the best in Detroit.
