I wouldn’t leave one star but had to. After WASTING my time and no follow by either the salesman Ray and the manager Steve, I left without signing the bullshit agreement. I told Steve I did not want to go over 300 a month for the car payment. The agreement listed the monthly payment at 394.00!!!!!!! Wth??? He claims he thought I said in the 300rds . Sad thing is I’m a repeat customer and referred my son who bought a car from them the very same day that I came in and talked to Ray. They left me hanging from a Friday evening until Monday evening. Ran a total of 4 hard inquires on my credit report after I asked both Steve and Ray not to. I am filing a better business report against them for that. Tried to give me only 1000 trade in for a good running , well taken care of car that I purchased from them. Laughable to say the least, less than what 1/2 of the low blue book. When they gave my son 1700 for a 2002 explorer that wasn’t even running !!! I am not in need of a newer car but wanted one. Maybe TRYNG to take advantage of a woman? Don’t know and don’t care. I am not the fool they tried to treat me like. I’m filing the better business due to the hard hits on my credit report

HORRIBLE BUSINESS! I called about a part I was told they had. He was too busy (Believe his name was Danny) and said to call back in 15. I called back exactly like he said. He took down info and said he'd check on part availability and call me back at my # on his caller i.d. I waited patiently for over 2 hours-nothing. Finally 2 1/2 hours later I gave up and called them back and he picked the phone right up--didn't seem that busy. Come to find out the part I thought they had was for a different kind of vehicle so I waited all that time for NOTHING. He said he'd go and doublecheck on the part to make sure and set the phone down while I waited....and waited....and waited....10 minutes at least...and then the phone went DEAD-NICE! A**hat obviously hung up on me--for no good reason because had been very polite the entire time. I called back to see what happened and went straight to voicemail---real nice AGAIN:P I left a polite voicemail to please call me back and waited 2 hours and no return call. I wish I could give them a NEGATIVE 50 rating but unfortunately not available. Save yourself time and misery and go elsewhere!!! HORRIBLE, RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL outfit....
I bought a car from them last October. It has been in the shop repeatedly since then. Going on 9 times. Tried to buy a new one from them to replace the lemon, suddenly they couldn't get me financed with a 700+ credit score. Don't believe the good reviews they write them to keep their score high. Avoid this dealership like the plague!!!!!!!!!!
bought a car years ago for cash was ready to upgrade but i was nervous because I've never had to go through the approval process for a car. i was happy champs auto took my car as a trade-in so i didn't have to put any money down on the car i was purchasing. it took them a couple days to get me approved which was totally fine...i was shocked i didn't need a cosigner. my monthly budget was $250 for car payments - they got me down to $210 a month which was awesome. thank u guys again, i will recommend u. P.S. the remote starter was a nice surprise lol

My name is Billy I purchased a set of off-road wheels and tires mudster i’ve been shopping around wherever I went they had barely anything to choose from when I walked into hot wheel city I was blown away I’ve never seen so much rims and tires I got approved for 2500 Less than 10 minutes I used $1620 they installed my rims and tires less than an hour these guys are amazing you need to check them out
DO NOT BUY FROM HOT WHEEL CITY !I bought a set of (Supposedly) brand new borghini wheels and new tires. when they put them on my car, I drove down the street and my car was shaking so I turned around and went back. They said that everything was good and they added a ring to the wheels, it helped a little but didn't fix the problem. I thought it would smooth out if I drove it for a little bit. the next day I had to go out of town and on my way the car started to shake really bad, I stopped and had it checked out at a shop. the guy at the shop showed me where all 4 of the wheels were bent, they wouldn't even balance on the balance machine and they were messing up my suspension. I called hotwheel city to see if they would exchange my 3 day old wheels and they told me that I was crazy because the wheels were not bent when I got them. so I have spent $1600 on some wheels that I can't even use.
this company is the worst company in the whole state of michigan . . . all they do is lie about there product . over charge the customers ( consumers fraud ) the salespeople there are paid commission and the boss standing there encourage it , im my opinion this company should be shut down and ivestigated for fraud every location is the same. same guys standing around speaking forgein language, and can barley speak english .they are rude , untrust worthy and lie to sell there over priced products
DO NOT!! I repeat, DO NOT, buy anything from Hot Wheel City. I purchased New Rennen wheels for my Camaro at the Greenfield rd store. Took it back twice because it had a vibration in the steering wheel. After taking it to my dealer and having the spun on a hi tech balancer it was determined that the wheel was 2 ounces out of balance. Unheard of according to the mechanic. I went back to Hot Wheel City and talked to Rafi, the guy I purchased the from. he said he would have to call Rennen on monday morning to find out about warranty info, and he would call me back. After not hearing from Rafi Monday morning, I called him back and he said he hadn't called them yet, and that he would call them and call me right back. He never called back. After not hearing back, I called Rennen myself, and he said that he had spoken to rafi earlier and that he had all the information. So I called Rafi back and he said he was still waiting for Rennen to call him back. Puzzled by his response, and after a slight argument I asked to speak with his supervisor. He to me his name was Jesse and gave me his phone number. I called Jesse and he informed me that he was not Rafi"s supervisor and that I would have to take up problems i had With Rafi, I then asked for the owners name and how i could reach him. Jesse told me he doesn't handle these problem, it handled by the store managers at each location. Rafi is the store manager at his location. See my confusion? After about 5 minutes of arguing, and insisting I speak with the owner, Jesse finally Told me to Go F%$& myself and hung up on me. I finally got ahold of Lisa who is suposidly the supervisor of all the stores in Detroit. Told her My story and she said she would get back with me. That was 5 days ago, haven't herd a word since. I guess treating costomers like Crap is how they do business.
