I bought a high end Liebherr refrigerator and needed service immediately after receiving it. The french doors are misalligned and the ice maker makes about an inch of ice every 24 hours. The serviceman told me upon arrival that he had called Liebherr on the way there because he had never worked on one before and then went on to tell me that if it made any ice at all it was acceptable and that the doors were not adjustable. I had already adjusted the doors, but couldn't get them right, so I knew this was false, and an icemaker that makes about 20 small cubes a day is totally unacceptable, so I called the company that I purchased the refrigerator from and explained this to them and they said this information was incorrect. When I told them that the service rep had never worked on a Liebherr before, so he was not familiar with them, he stormed out the door saying he had had enough.

These people serve Grosse Pointe, Oakland and Macomb Counties, but they're actually based in Harrison Twp. In any case, they came very promptly to repair our GE microwave. The microwave had quit after an electrical storm. The tech actually had to take it off the wall and take it apart to get at the fuses, which are buried inside the oven. Obviously knew what he was doing, and the whole repair cost us $86.50 which I count as very fair considering the time it took. The tech also advised us to get a surge protector, which is great advice although it means one less service call for him the next time we have electrical problems! These people have my vote and I'll call them again.
