The best auto body repair serviceI was involved in a big car accident about a month ago, my Mercedes looked like it was wrecked. I went searching online for the best repair shop and found Matrix Auto Collision really stood out. I called and spoke to Bob, the shop owner, a couple days later I brought the car there and Bob gave me a free estimate far cheaper than anyone else in the area. Next thing I knew a couple weeks later my car looked better than it has ever looked before. Bob even went the extra mile because I was a first time customer and repaired some dents and scratches that weren't even involved in the claim!!! On top of that he paid my deductible! What an incredible and professional experience. These guys will stick around for awhile!
I purchase a vehicle asked why the engine like was on owner just said worker forgot to clear codes so he retrieved a device and cleared codes himself I than ask again is there anything wrong with the vehicle he replied by saying no beside the headlight I shell out $3900.00 bucks drive vehicle home just to see that the engine light comes back on they say all sales are final I have to wait days to take vehicle to another shop because of holidays combined with weekend days jurors to be told that I would have to shell out an additional $2200.00 in less than 7days of owning vehicle contacted the owner of this company and he basically says it my fault this business doesn't disclose information lies to buyer's and potential buyer's in order to get a quick buck I would not have had a problem with my purchase if I was fully informed but the brothers who own this company are deceitful
I been going here for a year and have received both but amazing and fast service. I had a problem with my front passenger tire, and I took it in on 01/19 and it was ready for pick that night. Jay also offer a free car wash.
Terrible! I was in an accident on the freeway and once the tow got there the paramedics were there as well. The tow driver told me I should drive my car home. The door was falling off and it was crushed! The paramedics had to tell him to do his job. Once I called and asked when I could retrieve my things they told me they were open 24 hours... LIE! They open at 8am according to one girl at 815am according to another. When I got there they said I couldn’t retrieve my things because the name the car is registered to needs to be present. Okay fine. So now I had to ask my mother in law to whom it’s registered to to come with me. And now guess what, they said only one person could retrieve what was in the car, and it has to be the owner! What wasn’t I told this when I came last time??? Now I’m losing more wages from work being here for NO REASON! Terrible service. I absolutely would NEVER recommend this place.
Never take your vehicle here, my car wouldn't start they said my motor needed to be replaced, it only has 73 thound miles on it,he wanted to replace it with a motor thAt had 89 thousand miles he wanted 1,500 for the work and motor,i took it to another place,all it needed was the spark plugs a temperature sensor, and coolent! Never go there, bunch of crooks!
Owned by Mark and Frank of auto city in Eastpointe. They pay random people from the streets to repair vehicles illegally inside their facility. None of these people carry an ase more state certification to work on vehicles. Half of them I'm sure don't even hold a drivers license.so your vehicle is being repaired by some random person walking past on gratiot. In the shop with a cell phone you tubing how to install struts. Bahaha. Wow. Take your car anywhere else. You will regret it if you bring it here.

This is my first review on the Internet, but I felt compelled to warn others about the horrible experience I had with this "repair" shop.Actually, this shop came recommended by a friend and I needed to have my brakes done, so I decided to give Ray's a try. I told the gentleman doing the work that I knew I needed new brake pads, but that I'd like for him to give the car a once over to see what other work needed to be done since it had over 100,000 miles on it and probably needed some additional maintanence. He supposedly did the brakes and noted that I needed work on the front axle, inner tie rod, and a new valve cover gasket to fix an oil leak. I say that he supposedly did the brakes because when I picked the car up, every time I braked the car pulsated. I brought the car back and the mechanic told me that the pulsating was from the bad axle and tie rod that needed to be replaced. I agreed to have the work done with the understanding that this would fix the pulsating. It didn't. He also had found an oil leak on that first visit that I agreed to have fixed on the subsequent visit, as well.Eventually, I took my car to the dealership for an unrelated issue and they actually test drove the car and guess what? The car pulsated when the brake was applied.They did a brake inspection and found "rotors need machined, left front pads missing anti rattle clips, right rear caliper isn't oriented correctly against brake pad, and left rear caliper is innop and locked up". To make matters worse, they did a complete inspection on the car and found... yep, you guessed it, an oil leak! So as it turned out, they also had to install a new valve cover gasket to address the oil leak that Ray's had supposedly addressed just six weeks earlier.I went back to Ray's to see what their take was... All I got was that the dealership lies and if I want to bring my car for any other work they will give me a "discount"... What a joke! Beware, this guy knows that he can get away with ripping people off and was actually very rude and kept insisting that I should have brought my car back a third time to have him "fix" whatever was wrong.There are very strict laws about disputing auto charges, etc., so please learn from my mistakes... DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO RAY'S... Trust me... You'll regret it!!!!
