We have been using Partners for almost 10 years now. We have used many of the services available at Partners, from resident training camp, snake training, obedience classes, agility classes, dock diving, boarding and even swimming! I rescued a pit mix, and like many rescues, was having some aggression problems. My vet recommended I chat with Partners. Initially I was a little skeptical, after all, can you really teach an old dog new tricks. Wow, was I wrong. I love the place. The trainers could not be nicer, and my dog loved it there. I did the bootcamp, and am currently attending classes. They emphasize structure and respect, but in a loving way. I am now looking at doing the dock jumping thing with them. Guess we both learned something new.
We love Partners Dog Training and have brought all of our dogs here for training, classes and boarding. The staff is excellent and caring. We always feel comfortable leaving our dogs here. Excellent training facility. We have done resident camp, group classes, agility, rally and even swimming. The snake proofing is top notch. Shortly after having our dogs snake trained, they encountered a snake in our yard. All of our dogs stopped in their tracks and returned to the safety of our home. Thank you Partners!
I have trained my dog at Partners for over 1 year. Though the consistency of the employees and trainers seems to change, I have been mostly satisfied with the results. Recently, I made multiple attempts to contact the owner Leighton Oosthuisen regarding a boarding fee that was charged even after I cancelled the reservation well in advance of 1 week. When he finally returned my call and I explained the situation, he refused to provide the refund. He told me it was company policy. I informed him that I would be disputing the charge with my bank and he promptly hung up the phone in an aggressive manner. Unfortunately, the phone bounced of the receiver and I could hear his negative comments to the office staff regarding my call. Based on this issue, I will be taking my business to a trainer that values customers and providing great service.
