Do used appliances consume more power than new ones?
Used appliances do not necessarily use more power than new ones. However, depending on the age, make, and model, most new appliances maximize energy efficiency compared to older appliances. Appliances in poor condition will also be less efficient and might not perform as well. It’s generally safe to assume a newer product will be more economical in energy consumption than older models, but there are occasional exceptions to the rule.
Where is the best place to buy used appliances?
