Highly recommended they are completely reliable and knowledgeable about what they need to get done. They only fix what is needed and do not push to do other stuff that doesn't need to be fix. Dharmen thinks things out before fixing the unit and as a result the customer saves money. That I appreciate. Honesty IS the best policy.
After using this company several times now and taking into account my past experiences with contractors this is one company you can count on and trust. They have been repairing and maintaining our furnace an ac for some time now. My last experience with WeatherGuard was wonderful. They upgraded us to a better model air conditioner at one of our family properties at no additional charge. That's right they actually gave us a better model and didn't charge us more. Overall great experience every time and couldn't recommend them enough!!! Keep up the great work!!!!
We used this company after being referred to them by my parents. My wife an i were very satisfied with the work they did. They came out the other day to repair our really old furnace. They did an excellent job and did not try to sell us a new furnace like other companies have done to us in the past. They were thorough and explained everything in detail. We just called them again to have them come out and have our ducts cleaned. This is going to be the second time we use them and my parents have used them multiple times. We could not be happier with the service we received and look forward to having our ducts cleaned by them. If your looking for a company to service your heater or ac you cant go wrong with this company.
Defining customer service - this is what WeatherGuard does on a daily basis. In the middle of the worst winter we've had, furnace dies. Called several companies, all addressing the "new furnace" solution. I chose WeatherGuard. All well and wonderful and yet in a couple of weeks, the furnace dies once more. The owner arrives, we hope it fixes the issue, all well. And yet with another hit of winter, the furnace dies again. Several solutions tried and finally, we change the entire drainage solution and... voila - it works! Despite the glitches with the product (and exhaust/drainage solution within the home), the owner, Dharmen, took all my calls, even if at 4 am or 11 pm, came to assess the problem and never gave up until we found the solution! I cannot say enough of how incredibly patient and determined Dharmen has been in trying to resolve and in succeeding to fix the problem with our heating. He checked on us, he emailed, SMS-ed, called... how amazing is this...? Bravo to Dharmen and his team for being there for the customer, for not giving up and for standing by their promise to make things work! Bravo for a job well done, beginning to end! Highly recommended.
I turned my ac on for the first time this week. Its been pretty mild weather and what do you know it wouldn't cool my house. I looked around online found this company WeatherGuard. There price for the service call seemed right and the cost of the repairs was even better. It turned out we just had a burnt wire he said because we didn't have the coils cleaned regularly. Something to do with pressures causing the wires to burn. I don't understand all the technical details but they explained it in a way that it made sense. When it was all said and done i paid a lot less then i expected the AC is blowing nice and cold. Great work. I would highly recommend there services
Recently I was in the market for a new furnace and air conditioner for my rental property. I did quite a bit of research and decided I wanted an American Standard furnace and air conditioner after reading an article consumer reports did proving it to be the most reliable system. I found WeatherGuard Heating and Air Conditioning on google along with a couple other companies I won't name. WeatherGuard Heating and Air Conditioning is an authorized dealer of American Standard equipment and the after speaking many times with Dharmen from WeatherGuard, who turns out is the owner, I decided to move forward with there services. Dharmen and his employees were very knowledgeable with the equipment they sell and seemed like they genuinely cared about my needs and concerns. There pricing was also quite a bit lower then what three other companies quoted me. The installation was done very professionally and looked like a piece of art just like he told me it would. But what really matters is how it performs and it performed exactly like they told me it would. Super quiet and efficient. The other technicians that were helping were also great. They explained ways to prolong the life of my system and ways that my tenants can save money on there utility bills by do various things such as using the programmable thermostat which they even installed for free as a token of appreciation for using there services. I highly recommend WeatherGuard Heating and Air Conditioning if your in need of a new system or just need your old system repaired. These guys are the best!!! Thanks for everything WeatherGuard
My furnace stopped heating two days ago and after talking to a couple of friends i was referred to WeatherGuard Heating and Air Conditioning out of Des Plaines. They had a sale going on so the service call fee was $49.95 which was quite a bit cheaper then two other companies i had called for quotes prior to calling WeatherGuard. The technician Dharmen and his helper showed up on time, actually within two hours of calling which i was grateful for since the temperature in our house was dropping below 50 degrees. COLD!!!!! They wore shoe cover so that my light tan carpet would not get dirty. Talk about professional!!! Basically they diagnosed the furnace and told me that a sensor was dirty and needed to be cleaned, parts were not needed and they could basically do a clean and check to solve the problem. They informed me that they also had a sale for the clean and check going on for $49.95, I expected my total cost to be $99.90. Service call fee at $49.95 and the clean and check at $49.95 which equals $99.90. Well let me tell you i was pretty darn surprised when Dharmen only charged me a total of $49.95 and he waived the service call fee!!! All i had to do was print the coupon from there website he told me http://www.WeatherGuardHVAC.com These guys were great and the furnace works perfect now. If you need any heating or air conditioning work done call these guys!!! I've found my new HVAC contractor for life. Thank you once again Dharmen and Jaimie.
The other night our furnace went out. Anyone else notice furnaces only break down on the coldest days? So after a quick google search I found this company WeatherGuard Heating. There schedule was flexible and even came out after I got off work (6:00pm) so luckily I didn't have to take extra time off. The tech was very understanding and gave us our options to repair or replace the furnace. The prices were pretty reasonable. Quite a bit less then what I have had to pay other companies in the past. Basically we had a switch that failed and our furnace was over heating kind of like a car he explained. We replaced the switch and cleaned the AC coil which was causing the furnace to over heat. The techs name was Dharmen and his apprentice Matt were very knowledgable about our heater. They did a free clean and check for us. These guys were anything but what Tom J described. I have found a contractor that's a keeper and that's hard to do these days! Thanks for the prompt and professional service WeatherGuard!
