Dental Care
Dental care is very important for your pet’s health. Bad dental care can be more than just bad for your pet’s teeth, it can cause other problems with your pet’s health. We do offer dental procedures, please contact us for more information.

At this yearly examination our doctors will give your pet a thorough examination – examining the eyes, ears, teeth, listening to their hearts and lungs, running lab work, checking for any unusual lumps, and testing the joints for arthritis and swelling. Vaccinations are one of the most important preventive measure you can take for the health of your pet, our doctors will talk with you and figure out the best vaccination schedule for your pets.

Veterinary Surgery
I authorize anesthesia/surgery for my pet. The nature and risks of this procedure have been explained to me. I understand that some risks exist with anesthesia and/or surgery and I am encouraged to discuss any concerns associated with risks with my veterinarian before the procedure(s) are started. My signature on this consent form indicates that questions have been answered to my satisfaction. I authorize, Northwest Animal Hospital to perform any additional diagnostic, treatment or surgical procedure(s) deemed necessary for medical or surgical complications or any unforeseen circumstances. While Northwest Animal Hospital provides anesthesia monitoring and surgical services, I understand the risks and understand that the veterinarians and hospital team will do everything possible to reduce any risks. I will not hold Northwest Animal Hospital, the veterinarians or any team member liable for any complications that may arise. I assume full financial responsibility for this animal.
Declawing
We offer a wide range of surgical services including spaying, neutering, growth removal, dew claw removal, and feline declawing. Please contact us for a more detailed listing.
Spaying and Neutering

Laboratory Services
Our on-site laboratory helps us screen for hidden problems before your pet’s procedure begins. These tests also provide a baseline for monitoring your pet during procedures, and can indicate chemical imbalances that could affect your pet under anesthesia. We require that all pets have a blood panel done within 60 days of the procedure.

General Pet Care

Boarding
For our purposes, we are defining “aggressive” as any patient that attempts to lunge and/or bite an individual or other animal with the probable intention of doing harm. We would encourage all owners of aggressive pets to find an alternative to boarding their pets in a boarding facility, such as leaving the pet at home with a caretaker or taking him or her with you. We understand that circumstances do not always allow for these solutions. If any patient is deemed aggressive at the time of boarding admission or anytime thereafter, he or she will be categorized as an “aggressive pet”. The fee to board such pets is double that of our normal boarding fees per day. The nature of such pets will not allow us to extend grooming procedures to them, and we will not guarantee the condition of these pets upon the owner’s return.
