Occasions Catering backed out of our contract 1 month before our wedding. The person who was doing the tasting under-quoted us and instead of honoring their mistake, they completely backed out unless we agreed to pay 3 times the original quoted amount. This left us scrambling to find a new caterer in a very short amount of time. We found another caterer that was able to do the same meal, but for a good amount less. I recommend going to a company that is a little more honest, reliable, and takes responsibility for their mistakes rather than bad-mouthing their employees.

Slow, dishonest, fraudulent, inaccurate, condescending, maddening, INEFFECTIVE, lying, lazy, HIS MAIN CONCERN IS HIS COMMISSION, he couldn't care less about his customer, everyone involved in a Mauro deal wishes he was no longer in the business NEGATIVE STARS, STAY AWAY FROM HIM, TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW 1 star had to be marked, it's not true, he's a big goose egg
Unfortunately I was not very impressed with their company. They definitely caused me the most stress of my entire event. I found out Thursday night before my Saturday wedding that they had changed the table sizes, so I stayed up until 11 working on a new seating chart, which we got printed that morning before I left for my hotel. I then stopped by the reception room to check on things and found that they had yet again changed the number and sizes of the tables. I called them and they simply said that they thought this would work better and they were planning on sending me an email with the new set up at 2:00 that day so "I could change my seating chart in time". Needless to say I had to scrap my seating chart and my parents ended up sitting in the far corner of the room. Then we got another surprise at the end of the night by our bill, it was not what we were told it would be and not wanting to ruin your amazing night we paid it. For instance with an open tab we ordered kegs yet they served and charged us for bottles instead. I never actually met the man in charge, we emailed but he was never available. I will say that the food was delicious but unfortunately all of our struggles overshadowed the positives.After my wedding I found out that my host couple was yelled at during the reception because there was no seating chart. Finding this out was just the toping on the cake. I can't believe that after ruining my seating chart and expecting me to scramble last minute to make a new one they had the audacity to be upset with the people who were gracious enough to help me. Save yourself the hassle and go with anyone else
