Service was slow. We were in a group of seven. Fries were cold. Tenderloins overcooked. I ordered an Avocado Chicken Wrap. Description in menu says: Flame grilled chicken breast, melted provolone, lettuce, tomato, avocado and bacon wrapped in a freshly warmed tortilla with ranch dressing. Tasteless chicken, two tiny one inch pieces of avocado, NO bacon, not a warm tortilla, and NO ranch dressing. Don't put avocado in the name of the item if you're not going to put any more than that on it!! My sister in law complained about her order, I didn't but should have. The waitress was sweet and I felt sorry for her. Will never eat there again.
This is the only restaurant and we go to half of dozen each month. If you want Cherry Pepsi or Cherry Coke CHARGE extra to put the cherry in it. PLUS charge for a refill. This makes me not want to go.
Stopped here for a cocktail and dessert: Red's Rye and the Ginger Beerchetta. Good ginger beer pairing I think.This looks like a nice place otherwise: they are very slow about cleaning off tables and I'm not sure why parents bring very young children here. Get a baby sitter for your date night people.
Service was non existent. We were there about 10 minutes and the waitress hadn't even acknowledged we were there. Left and called to com0lain. The manager tried to give us 2 free meals to come back. Told them free food wouldn't make up for the lack of service and that we would not be back to that location ever.
I would highly recommend Johnny's. I did not know what to expect from a restaurant attached to my hotel, but was pleasantly surprised. The service was great and the good is fantastic.

My daughter chose Johnny's for her birthday dinner! She ordered the Medallion Trio, her favorite and oft ordered entree. She ordered it medium rare. When it arrived it was tough and definitely not medium rare. Our gracious and attentive server, Hannah, had someone sent to the table to address our daughter's concerns. It was taken to the kitchen. Upon the return of the same medallions our daughter was told to hold it up to the light of the window to check it! We were all taken aback at that suggestion!! The gal was pretty assertive and made it clear that nothing would be done to correct the problem. Rather than create a scene we took the medallions home to our dog who doesn't mind tough and overcooked. This was not how we intended for our daughter to spend her birthday dinner!! Johnny's has always been a favorite of ours. Even though my husband and I were satisfied with our meals the shabby treatment by that staff member certainly tainted our enjoyment of the experience!
The previous post is a complete twisting of the facts. this employee was fired for a multitude of reasons, which will not be mentioned here. He was not refused pay, but was asked to explain what happened to missing cash drops before he was handed a check. This employee stormed out and made personal threats of bodily harm, and did not wait to get his check. All of our employees are and always have been paid.The ex-employee's mom was asked to leave because she cannot be part of the employee (or ex-employee) and employer conversation legally, as the former employee is 27 years old and not a minor.Not long after, it was discovered the ex-employee also lied on his application.This person and his mother have taken to a internet smear campaign to intentionally hurt us financially, and have unfortunately done so fairly successfully, but not rightfuilly so. His wages were submitted to Iowa Workforce Development over 30 day ago after he failed to claim them, and neither he or his mother has made any attempt to correct any of their negative actions on the internet.Things like this kill small businesses, and this will cost 12 people their jobs if not corrected, and a loss of close to $200,000 invested in this business.It's a shame really that this gentleman can't right his inequities, nor can his mother, after doing so much wrong.
