Was just contacted randomly by Bryan Curtis, he was trying to sell us on some product he's rolling out and wanting us to use it to sell our house. After telling him numerous times that we weren't interested he became obviously frustrated, kept interrupting me, and hung up. Extremely unprofessional and rude. I wouldn't recommend anybody work with him at any capacity.
Attain RE is a top-notch boutique brokerage that not only saved me $8,000 on selling my home, he found another $12,000 in charges that our builder was trying to push on to us that were standard with the base home. Bryan Curtis, did not make this process difficult at all and is going to be our go to whenever we buy or sell in the future.
This complex is absolutely the best place to live downtown! Its close to all of the fun bars and restaurants and within walking distance to Principal Park and Fuzzy's Tacos. Yet it is far enough away from downtown that you don't have to pay extra for parking and you don't really hear things like the train, sirens or loud music from the bars. The staff is great and the apartments are very nice and new. The appliances are all very energy efficient, so the electric and water bills are never too outrageous. The complex also has some cool features like a movie theatre with built in Apple TV, a free pool table and exercise facility. It is also a fairly quite complex, aside from the occasional neighbor noise. For as many units as there are, I really don't see many people out and about.
I'm beyond words right now. I brought my bridesmaid dress in for alterations, with high recommendations, and when I picked it up (for hemming and a couple of seam fixes) I spent $133. That was the first strike. When I got it home, I nearly lost it. There's loose threads everywhere, VISIBLE stitching, tailor chalk all over, and one of the two simple requests I made wasn't even touched. Not only that, but she sewed a pin to the inside of the dress. THE INSIDE. I'm beyond words right now.
Imagine the most awful selling followed by buying experience you could possibly have, multiply this by 100 and you have what Mauro delivers. Slow, dishonest, fraudulent, inaccurate, condescending, maddening, INEFFECTIVE, lying, lazy, HIS MAIN CONCERN IS HIS COMMISSION, he couldn't care less about his customer, everyone involved in a Mauro deal wishes he was no longer in the business NEGATIVE STARS, STAY AWAY FROM HIM, TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW 1 star had to be marked, it's not true, he's a big goose egg
A friend got a Tres Leche birthday cake for my wife and it was delicious. We will be going there soon.
Terrible. Overpriced, limited bakery items. Jumbo is the word. Used to be good when it was Old Home but since Jumbo took it over it sucks. Go to a grocery store and get REAL bread.
While the owner is very pleasant and friendly and the work she did was done well, my complaint is two fold. 1. I asked her to add a small cuff around the sleeve with the same MATERIAL I was having added under the arm to make the sleeves fit better. The material was different from the rest of the top so I wanted to tie it in by having a small cuff of the same material. I also asked her what she would charge to do all of that. She told me between $45. -$50.00. I agreed to that. When I picked it up today she said "Oh I didn't add the cuff on the sleeve because I thought it would be too long." I wasn't happy that she ignored my request but what could I do? I need it in a few days. So I went to pay and she charged me over 68.00!!! What!? To open a seam and add 4 inches of fabric!? (that I provided btw). That was not right. It should have only been about $30.00. Ripped off.
The people are nosey they have cockroaches everywhere really bad and people do drugs there its not a place for kids at all.there is no locks on the outside doors at all.its not a safe place to live.people get stuff stolen or there apartments will get broken in too.
I brought in a jacket to have a patch put on and was promised by Wednesday. Picked up on Wednesday morning and it was done and very good job as well! Very impressed!
