It's dirty sometimes. Most of the tenants look nasty, filthy, and dirty. I see bugs in the hallway sometimes, and drunk people. The place have a bedbug problem.
Roaches are out of control and the management do not listen to your concerns. hey called me for two months about evictions and in reality I had credit to my account both times. One month when my bank goofed up my rent the main lady in the office told me that I would have an eviction on my door by the 15th. She is also The main person they have you talk to in the office she is Hispanic and seems to show favoritism to other Hispanics. There is no parking the hallways stink and have roaches in them. DO NOT MOVE HERE TO ROACHVILLE! Someone egged my car and tried to steal it I cant wait until my lease is up!!! I will be contacting my lawyer next week to see if I can legally do something about the excessive fees and roaches the roaches should be the ones paying half the rent they are there more than me
I'm A New Tenant I'll Be Moving In. In The Next Week Can't Wait to See How Everything Goes. Well Spacious By Looks of it!;)
why can't I get a live person on the phone? I just want to pre order a copy of my birth certificate so I can pick it up tomorrow. I just get ads for other problems and situations when I click on the website.
Beware - There are cockroaches here. First of all we were not shown the apartment we were actually renting, which I am convinced they did because they knew of the roach infestation, which they deny. We are seeing roaches from all stages of their life, making it clear they have had this roach problem for at least a year and a half as it takes a year for a roach to develop into an adult and start reproducing. When we walked into the apartment there was a huge can of bug killer and dead roaches in the drawers. We immediately brought it up to the managers and they sent out pest control three times in three weeks, which didn't help at all! We found out from the exterminators that the roach infestation is coming from our neighbor so there is nothing that we could even do to help the situation. In addition to that we can smell their rotting garbage inside OUR apartment! We told the manager that we would not be staying any longer and fortunately they found us a new apartment complex in West Des Moines through Hubbell as well. I appreciate that they were willing to work with us to get out of this complex, but I feel deceived that they weren't upfront with this issue in the first place. Had we known about the roach infestation we certainly never would have signed a lease. Now we are beside ourselves worried will take the roaches with us! In addition to the roaches inside our apartment we see them in the hallways, which are always dirty and stink of garbage, the doors are constantly propped open with rocks so anyone can come in, and there are holes and cracks in our walls and baseboards that weren't fixed, which aids in the traveling of roaches from apartment to apartment. We have been here for one month and it has been a nightmare, one I can't wait will be over soon when we move into our new and clean apartment in a few days.
Great location, well-furnished. Stayed here for nine months (in 15th fl, one bedroom apartment) and it was convenient, clean, and comfortable. In downtown, near the farmers market. Laundry on every floor, fitness room and wireless in the business center, Very friendly staff.
