        food was nothing but beef and tortilla with grease. Food i recieved from fast food havent been this greasy. On top of that wait staff pay no attention to u and cant understand a simple request for lemon on ur water. i had to walk to the front just to request a refill and get a lemon.

        Not sure where the 1st reviewer has been eating, but it was not good Mexican Food. This was the worst food & drinks my wife and I have ever eat, we left the Mule Pee w/Tequila on the table.

        The absolute BEST Mexican food...

        The absolute BEST Mexican food you have ever tasted. There is no other restaurant in Southwest Louisiana that can even come close to the quality (and quantity)you will find here. The prices are great, and the service is awesome. Once you have tried this place, nothing else will do.

        I grew up less than 20 miles from the Arizona/Mexico border and have sampled mexican food from all over both countries. I am absolutely positive that Los Maya Mexican Restaurant has the BEST mexican food I have ever tasted. The building is old, the tables and chairs could be more comfortable and the location is a bit out of the way, but the food is worth it. 100% AWESOME.
