Was there a couple weeks ago. The stylist was very professional, knowledgable, fun and did an amazing job on my hair. Absolutely love her (she's tall & beautiful), I believe her name is Donna. I came in there looking for a subtle change and she did just that explaining what styles would be best for my face shape and lifestyle. Just amazing! As far as the salon itself, it's very dark and outdated but, if she were to ever re-locate, I'd follow her. 5 stars just for Donna alone!
This is a family owned and runned business and everyone is great, from Mr Luigi who has been doing my husband’s hair for years, to his daughter Theresa and tge girls in tge salon who do a suburb job and make you feel like part of the family.
I have been going to The Salon and Spa for years because of the excellent service, professional staff, and the comfortable atmosphere. The products used are top-quality and my hair is healthy and styled to perfection. Sue
I've been here before, it was a good place for when I felt lazy and didn't feel like dying it myself, or if I needed a haircut because I don't trust myself with scissors lol its also conveniently located across from my work. In the past, I've had Jen do my hair, she was super nice and did a good job, but that was a year or so ago.I went back and Jen was gone, so they had a woman do my hair who openly admitted she hadn't done my style hair before (red, with blonde in the bangs and underneath) I've been doing my hair this way for about 10 years, I've never had my hair fall out or end up completely not what I wanted. I've had it done professionally and by myself.I should've just done it myself or went to supercuts. $100 later, and my "blonde" is a crappy colour pink, with blonde at the root, and also falling out. Not what I asked for, and not professional either. They then proceeded to basically tell me this is what I should've expected to happen. I'm not happy. At all. And when I went to brush my hair, I had clumps on blonde/pink in my brush. I cried.Horrible experience, and a waste of money. Now I have to go pay more money to fix what should've been easy to do in the first place. I am by no means a professional at doing hair, but if I've been successfully doing this hair style for almost 10 years, I expected a salon that charges $100 to do better.
This place is bar none to others! If you want someone to do a piercing properly I highly recommend seen Darrell. He's so professional and makes the process very comfortable. They were about to close tonight and still made time for my daughter. Thanks Darryl ! She's feeling better lol . Rose and Nicole!
Very unprofessional ! I had a root touch up and a haircut . My roots turned out red and the haircut is very uneven . When I told and showed the girl she replied" my next cloentIs here". I was shocked ! During my visit another stylist was counting her money . She shouted " They shorted me 68$ ! ". My stylist had to ask her to take it into the other room . I called and spoke to the owner and explained what happened . She agreed with her stylist that her other client was there . I have a simple haircut and just wanted a bang trim . I allowed her to talk me into a complete haircut . If she didn't have the time to spend on a decent jobthen she shouldn't have don't it at all . Now I have to go somewhere else to have it repaired and pay double !! Warning a don't go there a bunch of young unprofessional girls working there .
I stopped in to see if someone had the time to cut my beautiful thick curly hair. One of the stylist Michele told me she could do my hair at 7:00pm so i left n came back ....bad bad very bad decission ....My head looks like a very old used up brillo pad ...its crazy how bad it is i cant do anything at all with it n it cost me $40.00 to look horrible . I dont even wanna leave my bedroom let alone my house ive never seen someone mess up someones head so bad i dont even have enough hair on my head to get it cut again ...the only choice i have is grow it out or be bald its that bad!!!!! this lady michele had the nerve to tell me play with it for a couple of days and call me n let me know if u want me to cut it some more .... wtf
I designed my tattoo idea in photoshop, and brought it with me. I wasn't expecting it to be exactly the same, since it was a tree. I knew the leaves might be tricky, but it turned out not only a perfect copy but better! David did amazing highlights that really brought my tree to life. It was my first tattoo, and he was very careful and letting me know what was coming up and how much it would hurt. I got sick at one point, and he gave me a coke he had brought for his lunch. Clean studio, Such a great artist, I highly recommend!! Can't wait to get my next!
I had a piercing done by Darryl. He was very professional, had answers to all my questions, and he explained step by step of what was being done. I highly recommend him for any piercing.I also had a tattoo done by Tom. He brought back to life a wilted flower on my back to a fresh beautiful one and added a new one to it. Tom was very knowledgeable and his work is just beautiful. Tom will see me for future work!!!!
i highly suggest NEVER going here. i went there for a fill (didnt have time to get to my regular place -Gentle Nails) I told the woman all I wanted her to do was to make a concave dip on the top of my nails. She didn't understand English very well so I explained her and showed her a few times, then finally drew a picture on my iphone app and showed her. instead, she carved off the sides of my nails and made them skinny & weird. no dip either, the nail she did replace is longer than the others. the guy argued with me for atleast 5 minutes in front of other customers saying i should've told her i didn't want her to make them skinny, they try to make them look natural (i came in with wide, long,(not-cream)white tips)... finally he agreed he'll redo them for free. that night the tip of my thumb cracked from cleaning my kitchen floor. as i waited to get them taken off, a girl handed me the phone- it was the guy telling me he won't take them off for free, but would redo them for free.. this was so weird to me, & obviously proved that he puts being spiteful ahead of being professional. $17 down the drain.LONG STORY SHORT: they messed up my nails, they cracked the first night, then refused to go through with his word & fix them. bad idea.Sincerely,A cosmetologist herself p.s- I suggest Gentle Nails on Union by Cleveland :-)
