        How Does It Work?First, we educate our customers to understand the benefits of modular construction. Modular homes are built in a controlled factory environment while the foundation is being built on site. Once both pieces are done, we transport the home to the foundation and bring the two together. One of the benefits of this method is that the home is not exposed to the elements during the building process. It minimizes the time it takes to build while protecting the home from the exterior elements that can compromise quality and create long term issues such as warping and mold. In the three to four months it will take iQ modular homes to complete a new home, a traditional construction team would likely be only a fraction of the way there. Our parallel process of building the foundation and home at the same time can provide a faster overall completion time.
