My wife loves the ribeye steak sandwich, I think it's too high priced( like all of the food). But tonight things were a little strange. They were packed ( panthers were playing) so we had to wait about 10 minutes. Only thing I couldn't figure out was when we were being seated, there were 6 empty tables, and only 2 families had left. So why did we have to wait? Second of all, when we got our food (I got a cheeseburger and fries), I was told my fries were on there way. The waitress stopped a couple of times to let me know she would check on them. Ten minutes later(plus my wife was halfway through eating her sandwich), still no fries, our waitress stopped to say she would check on them. I just told her to take back my cheeseburger. After that, she never checked on us again(my wife ran out of ran tea way before she was through eating). Other things have happened like this before. With the prices being so high and things happening like this, is the reason I give Sports Page such a low rating.

Although you cant call an make a reservation the 10 min wait is worth it. The service is excellent and every course was off the charts.
Ordered food to go, they completely got the order wrong. I called them and they said to bring it back and get a new one. I told them I'm a half hour away, he said oh really? What's your address? I wanted part of my bill comp'd and he said he'd give me a credit on the next time I come in to eat...I don't want to come in there to eat, they just want me to spend more money.
I've had several dinners at Safari Miles, both food and service was excellent. However, they do not answer their telephone, nor do they have voice mail or at least an answering machine that gives their hours of operation. We tried to have lunch there one Saturday, only to find out they were closed until 5:50 PM.So, I would highly suggest that the owner(s) publicize their hours, invest in an answering machine or answering service of some type. If this business fails it is for that reason! I have called several times, all in vain, trying to find out when they are open to schedule a luncheon meeting. Note, this review was written a few years ago. We were seated quickly, the atmosphere is very relaxing and the ahi tuna was out of this world! Can't wait to go again.
