I had an appointment today for a Keratin treatment. This is something that I have wanted to do for a long time and today was the day!....so I thought. I was told when I booked the appointment a month in advance that is would be $150. When I went in today, my stylist told me that the owner had made a change and that it was $100 for each hour and that it would be $300. I was in shock and I told her that I couldn't do that. She said that she understood. I asked if there was any way that we could contact the owner to see if she would honor the original price, and the stylist said that she had asked the same question and that the owner had said "no". I'm so incredibly bummed and disappointed.
Mimi is very knowledgeable and has a really good personality. Viet has really good customer service. The only thing I would recommend is ask for the price beforehand, I feel like I was overcharged for a rebase. But given how my nails look, and customer service it was kind of worth it.
Worst salon experience I've ever had.I was there 6.5 hours, and they didn't charged me $150 for the wrong cut and the wrong color. And they didn't even finish either one!I left in tears.My bangs are not even straight, and my cut was not even completed. They said since they had taken so long that I should just come back the next day and get it finished for free. Since they promised that, I paid and walked out the door. But now they refuse to complete either one. They literally lied to me.One of their stylists even said I should not have short hair, because my neck is fat. :( The woman even started yelling at me when I was crying, and the manager just said the woman was tired, over-worked, and hungry. But there is no excuse to yell at a customer. I understand that the team was frustrated, but it wasn't my fault that you guys didn't have the correct color, and there's no reason to take that out on me. I was never anything but polite through the entire experience, which the manager thanked me for.If you don't have the color someone wants, just tell them that. Don't try to do it with what you have and end up ruining their hair, still charging them a great deal of money, say you'll fix it the next business day for free, and then take back that statement.
Mimi is fun and very good at what she does. Love her fun personality as she works with your nails. Love her imagination and how she makes them look and feel so natural.
I have been going to this salon for about 7 months. I get shellac and sometimes a pedicure. They are very inconsistent. With their manicures. About 1 out of every 3 visits I get a good shellac manicure that lasts. The last two times I have went my nails started peeling within the first week. I finally went in and said something in hopes they'd make it better but they refused. I will look for a new place for my nails. Also, as for the pedicures, half the message chairs do not work and many times I or my friends have sat with feet in cold water waiting for a technician. Overall just not a great experience. Not friendly or helpful staff and poor quality work.
Mimi did my nails and I couldn't have asked for a better time or experience!!! She was outstanding!!! I came in with a super difficult task and she accepted the challenge with hesitatation!! Very pleased will make this my spot!! Olaf in 3d!!!
Owner wants cash for her services so she don't have to claim on taxes, so if you buy a product from her ask for a receipt right away or your out of luck if the product has to be "sent back" and be told excuses on why she cannot provide a receipt. No receipt no record of ever buying anything.
They were very nice. Very clean. Came when they first opened. Service has improved. I give them 6stars all around.
The perfect way to enjoy a drink meanwhile you have your nails done, the smells of the products are delicious
The food is delicious, Chicago style food! The cashier is delightful, very friendly and helpful. We had a really good experience and will come back!
