This is the worst place ever to throw a party of any type the sound sucks. The staff is horrible I wouldn't waste my money here if I were you!
I hired Floral Expressions for my wedding. The bridal/bridesmaid bouquets and table centerpieces and groom/groomsmen boutonnieres were great. However, the misc boutonnieres (for fathers, ring bearers, ushers), corsages for mothers, and flower girl crowns were horrible. The boutonnieres looked limp and lifeless like they had been left out to wither in the hot sun (or more likely, a hot delivery van). I ordered seven of these and ended up using only five because two of them were absolutely unusable (I only used the others out of necessity!). The corsages were also like that. I was plucking flowers off the outer edges in an attempt to make them look better. The flower girl crowns looked pretty but they were made so front heavy that they were not wearable at all. I was pretty embarrassed about the quality that I was handing out to some of my nearest and dearest. After the wedding, I emailed the owner about my issues. She was EXTREMELY defensive and rude. She said she has never had a complaint before and that it was MY fault - that I chose freesias for the boutonnieres and they are delicate flowers. FYI - I did NOT choose freesias, I just asked for white flowers. They picked the type. I honestly did not even know what freesias were before this! She also said that the flower girl crowns were my fault - that I wanted them full and that they advised against doing that. Um, the only thing I had asked them was if they could incorporate similar colors that were in my bouquet. It's so irritating for someone to be saying things that never happened. I have all my email backup and asked her to show me where any of those things were said and of course, she never responded. I spent $1200 with the company. I asked for a $130 refund - to refund for the full price of the misc boutonnieres, the flower girl crowns (which were not even used AT ALL), and half the price of the corsages. When you take into account how much an entire wedding costs, do you think I would be spending my time trying to get back $130 if the flowers were truly not that bad? I mean, the delivery fee alone was $200, so you would think they could eat the $130 I was asking for. Anyways, the owner did end up sending me a $50 check with a rude note saying something about a "goodwill gesture". In conclusion, my wedding day was great and these flowers did not dampen my day. But, when you are paying for something, it's just natural to expect a quality product. And I would certainly not expect to be treated/accused the way the owner did afterwards. If she had only given me the $50 back but been apologetic, I would not have even written this review. MYRNA - LEARN HOW TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT!!! I'm sorry I had to complain, but anyone who saw those flowers would have! I mean, my hair girl and photographer and bridesmaids were in the room with me when I first saw the flowers, and they were shocked at the quality. It was definitely not a case of bridezilla expecting perfection - just bad flowers and HORRIBLE customer service.
The greatest flower shop in all of the Denver area. Will cater to any of your needs and offer things at prices that are far better than many others. Will gladly return in the future.
