Lindsay Keiffer of Luxury Urban Salons threatened me when I refused to remove a Yelp review about Eskeli Creations butchering my eyebrows in this salon. AVOID THIS SALON. They will accept positive reviews, but argue that the negative ones aren't about them, they're about their tenants.They also refused to return my call or email.
I chose Erica Eskeli to microbade my eyebrows partly because she worked in at Urban Luxury Salon, a “high-end” salon on the 16th Street Mall and charges $525 (plus a $50 tip added automatically,) so I assumed that a person who would charge such fees (nearly double the norm) would have lots of experience, superb skills, and would provide excellent customer service. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all.When I first went to see Erica, I brought a photo of the brows that I wanted, so there wouldn't be any misunderstandings. I asked if she could do "natural looking" brows. She said she could. I told her that I was asking because her brows did not look natural to me, and while they looked good on her, that look would NOT look good on me. She said no problem, "I can certainly do that." I also asked her not to draw any straight lines on my brows. She said she understood.Then she asked if I wanted to use red to match my hair. I said yes, I would, because I am always a red head. She said, "My concern is that if we just use red, it won't look natural because your brows are brown. We can always add some red when you come back for the touch up." I agreed with her, and we were to use brown. After all, she is the expert.Four weeks later, I became concerned. I followed ALL the aftercare instructions to the letter, but the brows she carved on me were clearly the wrong color, had straight lines, and worse: she had only carved them in a few random places! No evenness! So my right brow is now half brown and half red. My left brow is also red in places, looking patchy, and has a few random and perfectly straight brows, some at each corner of my eye, and none in the middle.And, they are way too thick. A professional should at least know which size blade to use to match the existing brow hairs. I decided to wait for the full healing time and then discuss a refund with her on my "touch up" visit in person. The assistant came out to put numbing cream on me, so they were ready to go, but when I told her that I wanted instead to discuss a refund, it took them 25 minutes to bring me back. That was telling.Erica absolutely refused to issue a refund. Not even a partial refund. Wouldn't consider it at all, even after reminding her that I had brought a photo in as an example, that she said she could do "natural," and that she agreed not to do any straight lines, and then showing her that my brows were pretty much the exact OPPOSITE of what she said she would do. I spent 45 minutes trying to get my money back. She said things like, "Well, I'll have to talk to my attorneys," and, "Any refund would have to come with an apology letter," and, "My clients know what my esthetic is," and, "Well you saw my Instagram page, didn't you?" Just WOW.And she just kept saying over and over, "I'm happy to work with you on a touch-up." I can't imagine why she thinks I would let her touch my brows again after what she did to me. And if all that weren't bad enough, at the end she said to me, "You are just sorry that you spent the money." Yup, she really said that outloud. And now I will have to spend about $400 more to FIX my eyebrows after she butchered them.I called the salon and left a message, and also emailed them. No reply.Avoid this woman like you would a funeral. Because that's what you'll be holding for your eyebrows. I have attached photos.
I came in for a facial because I have huge pores on my nose and cheeks that my girlfriend cannot stop mentioning to me. Since it was my first facial, I got the Deluxe Vert Beauty facial to clean everything out.
After driving from Loveland, I was told that my drop-off-at-the-terminal shipment could not be unloaded because they had no forklifts that could get down to the ground. It was obvious that if they had wanted to, they could have found a way. The guy treated me like I had done something dumb. I recommend someone else, even if it costs more.
The food is delicious, Chicago style food! The cashier is delightful, very friendly and helpful. We had a really good experience and will come back!

I just signed up with Nick last week and he was extremely helpful and professional and I paid my $800 sign up fee. I got a call just now from Galadriel saying Nick no longer works there and she would be helping me now. She then asked for a document that she was obvious not clear on or even what she was asking for...within about 30 seconds she gets extremely frustrated becomes extremely rude and hangs up on me while laughing in back ground?!!? This is the BBB right? How could someone even talk to a new customer like that and belong to a company like this? With all that I will be cancelling my membership. Cant support a place that craps on new customers SCARY!
Nigel King is the best! He has transformed my hair for the second time. I have been so pleased with my color, highlights, lowlights, and cut! Go and see him!
