I had thought that having a local friendly bank would be the thing for me but not when they get too into your personal life. I was having problems with my husband and separated three times over 5 years. Each time I had to close my Bank of Denver account and open a new one. I wasn't doing it for fun, my marriage was crumbling and I did not want to put my finances in jeopardy. But the last time the manager said that that was the last time and they would not open another account for me if I closed the joint one. Now mind you I had had a savings account for 8 years with The Bank so I thought they would be more helpful to a long time customer. When I called to complain they never got back to me and so I have changed to Wells Fargo. I don't care about "personal" service if you are so rude that you cannot open a new account for me because yet again my marriage did not work so yes, that's my fault and according to The Bank of Denver I don't deserve a checking and savings account because I cannot keep my marriage together.Oh and the kicker, they gave my ex-husband an account and then tried to get me to cover it when they called to tell me it was over drawn. Good luck suckers. You've lost a customer for life.And by the way I may not have been a big enough fish but I bet that Wells Fargo is plenty happy to take tens of thousands of dollars from me for my mortgage interest.
they just approve credit cards to those who have a lot of money in their accounts, no matter they have Social Security Number or not. If you do not have money more than 10 000 in your account, even though you have SSN, they will deny your application of credit card with other reasons. Such a snobbish Bank!!!
I AM TIRED OF THIS COMPANY CALLING MY NUMBER TO SPEAK WITH A PERSON WHO DOES NOT EXIST . TO START WITH I JUST SAID"WRONG NUMBER" THEN I TOLD THEM TO CHANGE THEIR RECORDS BUT THE CALLS KEPT COMING, WHEN THE CALLS GOT UP TO #8 I SAID I WOULD MAKE A FORMAL COMPLAINT IF THEY CONTINUED. TODAY I GOT CALL #10. I TOLD THE CALLER I WAS TIRED OF GETTING THESE CALLS AND DEMANDED HIS CONTACT DETAILS. HE SAID HE IS WITH JP MORGAN CHASE (CONFIRMED BY MY CALLER ID), HIS NAME IS SETH AND IS THE ASSISTANT VP. HE REFUSED TO GIVE ME HIS LAST NAME OR HIS CONTACT DETAILS, SO I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO SEND THIS COMPLAINT TO YOU IN DENVER. GET HOLD OF SETH, YOUR ASSISTANT VP, AND TELL HIM TO STOP PESTERING ME AND THAT WHEN I TELL YOU PEOPLE THAT YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER JUST BELIEVE ME WILL YOU. GO TO YOUR PHONE BOOK AND CHECK THE NUMBER AND SEE WHO ACTUALLY LIVES HERE. THE NEXT COMPLAINT GOES TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. AND I DOUBT YOU WILL HAVE THE COMMON COURTESY TO APOLOGIZE FOR YOUR COMPANY OR YOUR ASST VP'S BEHAVIOR. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. i DON'T THINK
