This was my first ever time hiring movers and I’m never going back to doing it on my own again! I was nervous that it might be awkward having someone moving my things for me and that I would end up having to pay a ton because they would go slow but it was completely the opposite. I hired two movers from DieHard. They were on time and got started the second they arrived. In an efficient manner they looked over all of our belongings with us to make sure they kept them in good condition. We had one coffee table that was in bad condition to begin with and we told them not to worry about it but they insisted that it was important because it belonged to us. Not only were they careful with it but they also took a couple minutes to fix the legs of it and truly left it in better condition than they found it. Along with how quick and careful they were they also were extremely pleasant to work with. They were friendly and enjoyable to be around. They made sure we were comfortable with everything and they never complained about how heavy or awkward any of our furniture was. They finished the entire move in a shorter time period than we expected and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it before they left. My dad was also having a hard time carrying a couple things and they went out of their way to help him and make sure they put his needs first. Numerous times we would be going up the stairs at the same time as them and no matter how heavy the furniture was that they were carrying they always let us go first. I had an extremely good experience and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to move!
I was worried about moving because I had no experience in hiring movers before. I was lucky enough to have a friend who knows of a good mover, so I decided to give it a call to see if it is decent for me. Two weeks before the move date, I called them to inquire about their services. On the other side of the phone, I’ve heard a gleeful voice. The person I spoke with was courteous and pleasant. I asked whether they are available for the date and I was told that they would be there on the date. I also asked for their estimate and I was given a reasonable one. What surprised me is that they didn’t ask me for a deposit. I was really expecting this thing already for a deposit would give me assurance that they would arrive on the agreed date. I was worried about this, but good thing they called me back a few days after to confirm. On the day we were about to move, the guys arrived earlier than I’ve expected. They were very nice – helped pack things, moved our belongings and even took out the trash. I really appreciated such gesture. Moving in to our new house was fast, efficient and seamless. I was happy with the service they had.
I don t know about you, but I think moving is one of the most heinous experiences out there. I was moving from an apartment into my beautiful new home, moving company I hired screwed with me for two days then tried to double the price of move after they showed up 5 plus hours late? (Neighbors Moving and Storage DO NOT USE!!!) Nice. It was around 6:30pm on a Tuesday evening and was feeling overwhelmed and sick. Had to be out of rental by next morning. U-HAUL gave me the name of Joe at Local Moving LLC. What a complete and unexpected relief and surprise. He was professional, kind and so knowledgeable. Joe put his team together and was at my place in less than 40 minutes. He gave me an amazing rate even though it was so last minute and he had to know that the move would take us through the wee morning hours. Way below any other company that I had queried. He and Trevor moved everything until the move ended at 3am. These guys are bright, personable and SAFE!. Not shady or scary like those guys from the other moving Co.Thank you both! Will recommend to everyone and use only you and Local Moving LLC in future!!
Moving Companies should be fast, cheap, and have great service too... Well good news. I found one! Stallion Moving Company in Denver fits the bill. They are located in central Denver and service the entire Denver Metro area. I moved from Parker, Co to Littleton, Co and when I began searching for movers, I looked to Google. I searched Denver movers reviews and there were dozens of companies to choose from. I called a few, but when I called Stallion Moving, that was it. The owner was so polite, offered me a great deal and after the other reviews... it was easy. The movers showed up ten minutes early, I can't really complain about that. They packed and loaded the entire home in a matter of hours. They delivered our goods to Littleton with ZERO damage. They packed all of our fragile items with either bubble wrap or packing paper. Nothing was knicked scratched or damaged at all. They even made sure to shrink wrap all of the furniture to make sure none of our nice wood was marred. Very happy with this company. Have already told my friends, hopefully you take my advice. Hire Stallion Moving. They're the best.
Personally, I hate moving and it is because I hate packing things. I dislike the hassle of looking for boxes, packing, taping and unpacking them. I hate that I have to dispose of them properly. Had to pack up my stuff for I was moving to LA. In order to avoid the things I hate about moving, I called Diehard Movers Denver. I left almost everything to them, packing, handling my things, carrying my stuff to the moving van, unloading and unpacking them. I only supervised them during the whole time. Watching them work, I was impressed. They brought all the things they need in moving, including the moving boxes (I asked them if they could provide it for me on the phone). They pretty much saved my day. These movers are good. The crew loaded and packed things really quickly. They handled fragile things carefully. They paid attention to the boxes and arranged and carried them properly. Prior to the move, they contacted me for final verification or for any instructions/requests I may have. So, nice of them to do that. Clearly, this is good customer service!
Why should I use anyone else? Great quality service! Using Empire Relocation was a great overall experience. They told me their crew would arrive between 12am-2 p.m. and they called me from dispatch at 11:50 p.m. to let me know they were on their way. They arrived at about 15 minutes later and dug right in. They were all polite, pleasant, and professional. Not one gripe from them about having to schlep heavy boxes down 4 flights of stairs They unloaded our moving container into our house cleanly and quickly. They were sure to be efficient with every moment we paid for, were extremely professional and polite, and were very careful with our things. Their pricing is simple and fair, and was really affordable for us for a big move. They clearly take pride in his work, and he and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great moving experience. I just bought a new house so I don’t plan on moving anytime soon, but if I did, I would use Empire Relocation again in a heartbeat.
If you want someone you can trust and will do a good, clean and thorough job, you want Stallion Moving. If you want cheap and dirty, go somewhere else. This company is first rate. We moved around the beginning of August 2012 and they came to the house to do the estimate (to be on site to see what there actually was). They packed us up. They loaded the truck (great job nothing broken) and unloaded the next day. They where mindful of not causing any bumps, scrapes or scratches. They did misplace a box in the house (a box of hardware to put the beds back together) but did return to the house and no extra charge to put everything back together once the box was found. They picked up boxes and packaging material at no extra charge. At the end of it all, the total bill was LESS than the estimate. How many companies do that? If you are nervous (as I was) and you just want a good, reliable company, look no further than Stallion Moving.
Had a great moving experience with Diehard Movers. After our mover decided to ditch us on the last minute we realized that we needed to look for another mover to come to our apartment and move our furniture on the same day. Luckily for us, Diehard Movers was able to accommodate us on their schedule, even though it was a sudden move for them. The movers arrived and got to work immediately. 2 of the movers, whose names I can’t remember, were really funny and friendly. They told me that it was a good thing we called them because they had the best moving service. Woah! BIG WORDS! And I guess they were right. Aside from their friendly service and the fact that they accommodated us, they were very professional with their work. They took a lot of care in making sure our belongings were packed and moved correctly. It was really a pleasing service that makes them deserving of our recommendations.
A month back we wanted to relocate out of the small town we were residing in and we had a seamless experience moving long distance with Franklin van lines. Their manager was really good, very upfront, and honest. She always got back to us with any questions that we had, knew what she was talking about, and wasn’t telling us one thing and then we turned around and found out something else later. We didn’t have anybody come over and walk through the house because she did it all for us. The crew worked harder than I would ever expect anybody to work. They did a phenomenal job for having just two people to do the job. Everything went great and we had the same movers move us once we got to the location. They moved the furniture back in, set things up, and were just as pleasant as could be. We didn’t have any issues with this company and its crew, thanks to them for a delightful move.

Moving companies aren't required to be an AMSA member, but the ones that are have committed to the association's rules and regulations, which protect both the companies and the consumers hiring them. If a company isn't an AMSA member, that doesn't mean it isn't reputable, but an AMSA membership is a clear indication of legitimacy.
