We have been taking both of our hairy muts (Darby and Fiona) to Oona's for grooming for over two years now. On our initial visit, we sat with our groomer to talk about how we would like them to look and what we expected. She talked to us at length about what we would have to do on our part to keep them in shape and we are on a consistent schedule now. The girls there did a great job and have been consistent since then with the cut, nail trim and ear plucking. We are NEVER disappointed! We often get compliments on how nice our dogs look, especially on our walks at the park.
Darby is an old guy (12 years) and we appreciate that we are able to drop him off and pick him just two or three hours later without having to worry about the chaos of other grooming shops, and other dogs bothering him. We would highly recommend Oona's to anyone!

Oona's is simply a godsend! I used to move often and have been to groom shops covering three states, and I have never before had such a consistently wonderful experience having my two dogs groomed. The owner, Oona, is always smiling and sweet, and I would not take my dogs anywhere I didn't 100% genuinely believe that my dogs' health and happiness were the priority. The girls there are gracious and honest with me, and my dogs leave looking and feeling fabulous. A great many customers must feel the same way I do because the shop is always busy and booked out. What a shame that citysearch can't stop disgruntled, mean-spirited people from making a wonderful business look bad. I can not stress enough how much I love this shop and urge everyone to stop by and see what an amazing place this is for themselves!!!

This place is by far the worst place to get your dog groomed. I took in a photograph, was very specific about what I wanted and when I picked up my dog... it was a buzz job, not even remotely close to what I asked for. The only redeeming thing is that its summer and the hair will grow back. The shop owner is rude. I recommend Park Hill Pooch or even Pet Smart. AVOID THIS SHOP, THEY DON'T LISTEN and THEY OBVIOUSLY DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT YOUR MONEY. SERIOUSLY BAD.

I am not sure what the two previous people are talking about. I have been going to Oona's for about a year now with my 3 dogs and have always had super customer service. My dogs are extremely happy when they come home. I love the fact that they don't have to stay there all day. One of my dogs has severe seperation anxiety and everyone there seems to care about her wellbeing. I have seen the owner Oona there a few times and she has always been extremely upbeat and personal, maybe you didn't catch her on a bad day, but your attitude might have rubbed her the wrong way

I have had ONE appointment with Oona's... grooming was just ok, but the owner is rude! I think it's considered the wealthy area of town, so I assume the owner is full of herself. Anyhow, I decided I'd give it one more chance, assuming I caught her on a bad day... called to ask a simple question and the reply was just RUDE and arrogant. Last chance for my grooming dollar...

So I stopped by to ask for an appointment within the day or week--(my exact words were ""Do you have any cancellations for today or anytime soon."") Well I guess I didn't appear Park Hill wealthy enough for the on staff manager because instead of offering me a later appointment or at least responding with a respectful answer like, ""Oh sorry--we just never have cancellations--it seems like we're always busy,"" she proceeded to treat me like I was an idiot for even considering the fact that their shop just might have some appointment time for my five-pound puppy. She was simply rude for no reason--maybe stressed or overworked, or just stuck up, I don't know--but I won't go back for a second round of such terrible service. Needless to say, I now drive fifteen minutes to For The Love of Dog where the staff is extremely busy, yet still treats potential clients with respect.
