I dont normally write up negative reviews, unless it's truly deserving and really hope the owners see this and make corrective practices.
I bought a Rancilio and wanted them to service it. I run a small non-profit and dropping off the machine to them was to take 1-2 weeks, but for a fee they could come out and work on it.
There person (I know his name, just leaving it out) showed up, turned it on, and everything was working swell.. unless the bar pressure didnt stop climbing and the safety valve blew off. Happened twice. I was told it was a bad temp sensor or logic board. Cheapest option was the Temp Sensor at $80. So I had them order it. Suppose to come 2-3 day, and after a week I called, 2 weeks I called, and the 3rd week I left a message to make sure they canceled my order and made sure they didnt charge me for the part, told them my complaint, and still no call back...
The sad part is, ME and inexperienced person, with no knowledge googled and found the fix in 10 mins. All the service person had to do was adjust the potentiometer to stop at the desired bar pressure... That's it... instead, the safety valve blew, trash.. and it cost me $150 to have them out, and they billed me for a gasket which wasn't the right one, because they didnt have one on the truck... when then knew they were coming out for... $150 and i got a gasket which isn't the raight one. Again, I hope this company fixes the issue, cause Im out $150 for installing a wrong gasket and to be told they would need to order additional parts when they should have just adjusted the only screw on the logic board. I feel ripped off and scammed.
