        Overall

        Got entangled in a speed trap from these guys. I had heard stories but now have one of my own. Unaccommodating and clearly desperate for revenue. Be careful driving through here

        a government that exists to write traffic tickets

        The town of Lakeside Colorado consists of 20 residents, a dying amusement park and a now closed mall. With the mall closed they are desperate for revenue and focus on writing speed trap tickets to drivers passing through the so called "town". They have engineered the signals and traffic signs to be inconsistent with other cities in the area, which is great for catching drivers unaware. Drivers beware of this place.
