I am a neurotic East Coaster, coming from the salon industry, who was terrified to find a new stylist. I have curly hair, I like to wear it straight sometimes, and I'm working with a whole scalp situation since I'm without humidity for the first time.
With Terri's flawsless technique, patience with my neurotic nature and professional, yet very warm and friendly environment, I walked out of her salon feeling like a million bucks. I was even told I had ""Kate Middleton hair"" later that night! Well, I finally relinquished my straight-do for a wash-n-go curly look this moring, and my hair hasn't looked this good since I actually worked for a high-end salon in Manhattan.
She walked me through every step to ensure I was comfortable, gave primo-product recs to the product junkie, and every person who walked out of her salon had amazing looking colors, cuts and blow outs.
I'm already sending friends there, and can't wait to go back.
Thanks for helping me feel at home!

What amazing luck I had in finding Jason Fail at Hot Heads Salon. I took a picture to him from a magazine...RED hair and the cutest style and he took one look and said ""I can make you look just like that"". Sure enough, I came out of the studio a new woman! Turning 60 years old the next day, I needed a boost and he made me look a decade younger! Hot Heads...hang on to Jason :-)

Let me just preface with this: I've been to salons all over the country, and in the U.K. and no one has ever been more exact or thorough than Bonnie. Plus, she is really nice and funny and makes the time pass quickly with good conversation.
I won't go anywhere else for nails.

Hot Heads is the only salon I'll go to anymore. I found them after searching for top rated hair salons in Denver on City Search and 5280 and was happy to find that they not only earned their reputation but they don't let it go to their heads.
Teri, the owner, as well as several of the staff (the place has a surprisingly low turn-over) make it a point to get to know their clients. I visit the salon about 4 - 6 times a year and yet they recognize my voice on the phone and make it a point to find an appointment that works around my schedule. I started visiting Hot Heads while I was pregnant and after my daughter was born, everyone was going out of their way to make me feel welcome and leave feeling beautiful. I've even had help wrangling the baby so I could have my eyebrows waxed!
Stacy Libby is a genius with hair. I have long thick hair and no time to style it and she managed to give me a cut and some products that allows me to air dry my hair and still look like I've spend at least an hour styling. always leave feeling like a beautiful lady and less like a frumpy mom. That takes some skills!
The best part is that even though Hot Heads in in Cherry Creek, they don't charge Cherry Creek prices. This place is very affordable, does incredible work and I always feel like I'm visiting friends when I go to Hot Heads.

After going to numerous different hair salons around Denver for years I finally found a stylist I will go back to. Rachelle at Hot Heads is excellent. I have gone to her twice and each time I was in she listened to what I wanted and delivered. She is excellent at highlights...the first time I was in I went dark and loved it and the second time I went blonde and was very happy. I hate when I go to salons and ask for a trim and the stylist cuts off 2 inches. Rachelle only cuts off a little bit to make my ends look healthy and my hair never even looks like it was cut.

Rachelle at Hot Heads is amazing at Blonde!! I've been going to her for years and every time she does my hair I leave happy and excited to show off my new look. She is great and always listens to what ""I"" want!!! Oh and she wont cut off all your hair when you ask for a trim!

I went to Hot Heads a while back.I was a first time client and was referred to the owner when I initially called. She was short and abrupt with me and didn't really understand my color. I wanted pretty pale blonde highlights and ended up with all over gold, brassy hair. My hair is damaged and dry. I found someone else who has been bringing my hair back. I would be leery of going here.

I had never been to Hot Heads Salon in Denver, so when a friend referred me I had no idea what to expect. I have long, thick hair which had seen better days, so I was looking forward to the Brazilian Blowout.
I heard that Hot Heads stylist Stacy Libby has traveled all over the US and has some excellent experience under her belt. Also, she spent some time in Boston, which is where I am from, so I decided to stop in and let her try to fix my untamed, damaged, Colorado dried out hair.
Stacy was extremely knowledgeable on the topic of hair- from the types of molecules making up the hair to the types of treatments and hair coloring techniques which would be best suitable for each individual. She spent time explaining what the Brazilian Blowout would do for my hair, and listened when I asked for a very subtle trim, but that I wanted to keep my long locks!
The results were stunning. I met up with my boyfriend for mojitos next door at the Italian restaurant, Piatti, and he was smitten. My hair was luscious, healthy, and absolutely radiant! It was actually glowing and gilded in some spots it was so healthy! Stacy explained that this would last for about 12 weeks and I could basically blow dry it and it would fall perfectly around my shoulders- no hot iron or products needed! The protective protein sheath the Brazilian Blowout treatment provided my hair with literally changed my life. I recommend it to everyone wanting to update their hair quality or bring it back to the condition it was in back in their college days.
Thank you so much, Stacy Libby!!!

Hot heads is a gem in cherry creek. Taylor is wonderful and very friendly. The entire staff is friendly and they all work together. She takes the time to listen to what I want and makes suggestions. She is so easy to talk to. When I leave I feel like a new person. I love my hair. (great with icy blondes and blowing out curly hair...both are so hard to do.) I would recommend anybody.
Whether I am walking in or have made an appointment, the stylists at Hot Heads are more than accomodating. I have been a loyal client for years and I have never had any but a positive experience. I get more compliments on my hair!! The owner Teri is wonderful, and her staff follows suit.
Let me say this again I love my hair. I was a little lerie of getting highlights I just wanted those natural highlights that kids have you know and was affraid that it would turn out super blond and completely obveouse. I Talked with my stylist Taylor and explained what I wanted. She gave me exactly that. My hair looks great I couldn't be happier. Thank you Taylor I LOVE MY HAIR!

To start this review off, let me say that I really like most of the stylists there, so this bad review isn't about them. I was a loyal Hot Heads customer of over 2 years and frankly I got tired of paying to sit in 80+ heat while I had my hair done. Last appointment was the straw that broke me. A crack in the window with a sign calling out the glass company for breaking it? Just fix it! The a/c was also broken on a very hot day, but it always is hot in there. The location is great, the salon is ghetto. Time for the owner to spend some of her profit and improve the salon. There are too many other great options in Cherry Creek to pay to leave a salon with sweat rings.

I have been going to Hot Heads for years and have never been disappointed! The stylists are all super friendly, great conversationalists, quality styling/knowledge and you can tell they all love what they do. I refer everyone I know to this salon - it's the best!

I have been here a few times and seen different ""stylists"" each time. Trying to convince myself that it was just the individual rather than the reputation of Hot Heads... This is the last time I will step foot in there. I am not the kind of person to bash something just because of one experience, but this has been consistently poor. Furthermore, I do not have much credibility for city search. While getting my hair cut I could hear another stylist poaching her client for a good write up on this site. I left hot heads and went to another salon in cherry creek the same day to get my hair cut fixed. You truly don't always get what you pay for...hot heads has shown this to me for the last time.

Stacy did ABSOLUTE wonders on my hair. I've had a terrible frizzy curly mess on top of my head for 25 years untill yesterday. I had also been dying it black for 5+ years, afraid I was stuck with the color forever, and literally wearing it in a ponytail everyday cause i couldn't get a brush through it.
Not only did she get rid of ALL the black, the brazilian blowout (which is absolutely life changing) she gave me completely changed everything about how i deal with my hair.
Stacy created an amazing custom fuschia/ magenta color that is absolutely off the charts and RADIANT! i never thought in a million years I could have color so bright. My hair is hands down healthier than it has ever been in my life. I keep going around making people feel it because its so hard for me to believe.
She cut the time I get ready in the morning by over half and I look 10 times better. She is pure genious. I would have her move in with me if i could!!!!!

I was new to Denver and wanted to try being a blonde! I went to a salon and walked out balling with bright orange streaks in my hair- and I am not one to cry very often but thats how awful it was. I immediately went to Hot Heads because they were able to fit me into their schedule! So 20 minutes leaving the first salon I found myself sitting in Ashleys chair. She asked me questions and REALLY listened to what I wanted. Next thing I knew my hair was exactly how I pictured it before this whole mess began.
She is seriously a miracle worker. She was able to go from a bright orange to a perfect ash blonde like I asked for the first time. Ashley really knows what she is doing- she won't even begin until she is completely confident she knows what your taste is. And if for some crazy reason you end up not liking your hair (which is literally impossible with her) she would NEVER let you leave the salon the least bit unhappy. Her technique is phenomenal and her personality matches that perfectly. I have been going to her ever since and would never let anyone else touch my hair- I have never had this much trust and confidence in a hairstylist before. I swear this girl never makes a mistake- no one is perfect but she is damn close! I am clearly obsessed with her!!! (and you will be too)

I went to hot heads a couple weeks ago after reading good reviews on-line. I called and they got me in for a hair cut and when I got there they placed me with Taylor.
I had very long hair and only wanted two inches off, and I made that very clear. Taylor didn't listen to a word I said and took off four inches. My hair is a complete mullet and I have worn it in a pony tail every day since my hair cut and I am just waitng for it to grow out. She put way to many layers in it and it looks horribe!
Also, she had two dogs running around the place and she kept stopping during my hair cut to go tend to her dogs. Then I heard her dogs chocking because they were eating my hair on the ground and I almost gagged it was so gross. Then she bent over to push her dog away and her thong was hanging out of her jeans, it was completely trashy and unprofessional.
I am sure this is a great salon, I just got a very poor hair stylist.
