The bladder is a hollow organ that stores urine. It is located inside the lower abdomen, is about the size of a grapefruit and is distensible (elastic) which allows its muscular wall to get larger and smaller. *, grew up in Kingwood, Texas just outside of Houston. He completed his undergraduate and medical school training in Texas before moving to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for General Surgery and Urological Surgery training. When he completed his training in 2007, he, his wife and newborn daughter moved out to Denver, Colorado to start practicing. Neither one of them were from Colorado, but prior to moving out, they were always skiing, camping, hiking, fly fishing, golfing and enjoying the outdoors. It was, and still is, the perfect fit. Since moving out to Colorado, Dr. Weiss has been blessed with two more children, both boys. They could not have picked a better place to live, work and raise their family.

Vasectomy
If you are thinking about getting a vasectomy, you are not alone. Each year, more than 500,000 men in the U.S. choose vasectomy as permanent birth control. During vasectomy, each vas deferens (the two tubes that move sperm) are sealed off. This blocks sperm from reaching the semen that is ejaculated from the penis. After a vasectomy, the testicles still make sperm but they are absorbed by the body. A vasectomy prevents pregnancy better than any other method of birth control, except abstinence. Only 1 to 2 women out of 1,000 will get pregnant in the first year after their partners have had a vasectomy.
