We were not impressed. The people working there were very pleasant, but our orders were brought out piece meal so we were sitting there waiting for different items we had ordered before we could actually start eating. The skimpy parts of the chicken wings were served without the meaty wing parts and no sauce came for them for 5 minutes. Then we had to wait for another 5 minutes for rice to go with our Kung Pao, etc. I may place a take out order in the future when I'm desparately hungry, but I don't think I'll go back for a sit down meal again. I will give it a three star rating because the staff were nice.

If you care about the environment, never eat here!

This restaurant has been placed on a short list of restaurants in Colorado that offer shark fin soup or shark fin products. The practice of shark finning has devastating environmental as well as human consequences. Trade in shark fins encourage subsistence fishermen in developing nations to kill thousands of these vital creatures every year for their fins while their families eat the poisonous, mercury laden meat. Only you can stop this. Tell everyone you know to avoid this restaurant until they change their practices. I am unable to post a link on this review site, but feel free to look up the Animal Welfare Institute to verify this and learn more.

Best dim sum in town

I've been going to China Jade for probably close to 20 years, it's by far the best dim sum I've found in Denver.

Pretty decent Dum Sum/Southern Chinese cusines for the midwest

Good service (especially if you speak Canotnese). Food is tolerable, no dum sum charts but way better than Kingland. Not bad for being in the midwest (yes, colorado is part of the midwest if you not from the flatlands).

Best Chinese Place in the Denver Area

First off, this is a Cantonese establishment. Cantonese cuisine is known for Dim Sum (Yum Cha), and seafood dishes. This place has consistently wonderful food, and though the atmosphere is a little dingy and run down, I have learned over time that those places usually have the best food. As long as the focus is in the kitchen, I don't really care what the front of the house looks like. Service has always been great, and we've become regulars over the last two years. We're always welcomed and well taken care of. You can also call in for take out, and can also get bulk roast pork or duck to take home. The dim sum is wonderful, and served 7 days a week. Chow Fun, Hong Kong Style Wonton Soup, Stir Fried Egg and Tomato, and their Brisket and Tendon hotpot is sure to please. This is not a place for egg foo young or sweet and sour pork. You can get authentic Cantonese food (whole steamed fish, Am Choy, salt and pepper shrimp) at a very reasonable price, and brush up on your cantonese language skills. Don't be afraid to experiment and try something new, you'll probably like it, and also, don't be afraid to ask for something you've had somewhere else if it's not on the menu, they'll be happy to try and make it for you. Located conveniently off 6th Ave, on Federal, just past the intersection of Alameda heading south, in the Far East Plaza.
