Our Black Lab Ben Love his visits to Camp Bow Wow LoDo. He gets to run and play with all his friends. The staff there takes very good care of Ben and the really care about the family members left in their care. The facility is clean and well maintained and is a great place for a dog to socialize with other dogs. I would recomment Camp Bow Wow LoDo to everyone.
I have been taking been taking my dog to the Camp Bow Wow Lodo location since April of 2012. I have had a pleasant experience until now. Recently, my dog was able to eat a large piece of rubber from their facilities. It was of such a size when it finally was removed that she had to been able to chew on it unsupervised for a long period of time. What was most concerning to me was that despite numerous phone calls to both the manager and the camp ranger I received no feedback on what had happened that day while she was under their supervision. In addition, when we met to discuss this further the management team did not express any apology or consideration for what I have been through over the past few weeks. Instead, they decided this occurred at home despite the fact no piece of material like this exists in my home. Furthermore, they contacted my veterinarian without my permission to obtain health records. Indeed why would they contact my vet if they weren’t trying to cover something up?
I took my dog there in the morning and when she was returned to me she was never the same. Upon taking my dog to the vet since she wasn’t returning back to normal the vet ultimately had to perform emergency surgery removing the large piece of rubber from her intestines due to an intestinal obstruction. I am thoroughly disappointed with both how the situation was handled as well as the management at Camp Bow Wow Lodo. I am now facing a large amount of vet bills and the Camp Bow Wow management will take no responsibility or even bother to come to an agreement.
Lastly, I would never recommend this facility for your loved ones. If you care for your furry friends as much as I do I would think twice before you leave them in their care. It only takes one occurrence for you to lose your loved ones. I was fortunate and my pup lived however, I am told by the vet that we caught it just in time.
I am not one to write a review, but this place deserves one. :) We took a short trip from CSprings up to Denver. We chose a hotel that allowed pets, so as to not leave our dog at home. Not really ever traveling with the dog, we found out that we could not leave him in his kennel, in the room while we went to the zoo. I called Camp Bow Wow (now that I was in a pinch) to find out what I needed to do to have him stay there for a day. Again, this was last minute so I didn't have any of his papers regarding shots. Amber, plus additional staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. I got the number to the vet, they called and had the paper work faxed to them. Upon arriving to drop off our dog, they 'interviewed' him and slowly adjusted him to the other pooches that were visiting that day. All the while, we watched on a camera to see how things were going. They were so patient with him, since this was his first time around so many dogs, PLUS any kennel-like facility. He did wonderful!
We enjoyed our day at the zoo without worrying about him...and picked up a VERY tired, but happy pup!!! :) They supplied me with tons of great information and we left with tons of smiles. Thank you so much!!! Anyone that is in the Denver area and needs to find a place to put their lovable furry-family member...I HIGHLY recommend the staff and facility of Camp Bow Wow off Brighton Blvd. We hope that Mingo can come play with the other 'campers' again.

Love Camp Bow Wow! We've taken our dogs here for years, both the Ft. Collins location and now the location in Lodo. The staff is always very warm and welcoming and puts any concerns you may have at ease.
My two favorite things about CBW are the Camper Cams and the Camper Report Card. The Camper Cams allow you to see your dog on a live webcam at any time during their stay. I was slightly worried about my hyper puppy being with so many dogs and possibly annoying them, so being able to check the web cams throughout the day put my mind at ease. The Camper Report Cards are a great way to get feedback about how your dog did, who they made friends with.and there overall stay at CBW.
I would recommend Camp Bow Wow to any of my friends. You won't regret it!

I visited several daycares when I first got my puppy, but after interviewing Sammy with Camp Bow Wow, she hasn't gone anywhere else. She loves the other dogs and plays all day!
The staff is always cheerful and welcomes Sammy. The offer great specials, so daycare is affordable.
We have been boarding our dog, Bear, at this Camp Bow Wow for several years when we go on vacation and he loves it! Bear has so much fun playing with the other dogs and is ready to just sleep when we pick him up.
The people there are great and extremely helpful and friendly. The place is also really clean and you can tell they really care about the dogs. We are confident that he will be safe and has never come home with any injuries or problems due to the secure and watchful environment.

I have taken my puppy to several day cares and she has never come home happier or more worn out! It was great for her and great for me. When I first walked in, I was greeted by a very energetic and sweet girl. Then my puppy was brought back for an interview and I was able to watch the whole thing on their web cam. The staff was very informative when letting me know how the day would be for my pup. I felt extremely comfortable leaving her there all day. I felt like I just dropped her off at one of my friends'. There are also several day cares within just a few miles and I would recommend Camp Bow Wow LoDo over all of them!
Thanks for being so great with my puppy!

My dog and I absolutely LOVE Camp Bow Wow Lodo! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They take really good care of my dog while I'm at work. And I know she's safe, happy, and getting plenty of exercise! They also did a great job watching her after she got spayed. I had to go back to work a couple of days afterward and I knew she would be in good hands. Thank you!

We bought the 10 day deal on zowzee and used Camp Bow Wow for Day camp for the first time this past week. Our high energy dog loved her stay and was pooped in the evening. Perfect!
We were able to watch her online on the dog cam. She was definitely having a good time and interacting with other dogs. She was well taken care of. Well worth the money and I recommend it to anyone who needs their dog to have some play time during work hours.

We've been taking our dog here for a couple years now and he still gets as excited as ever when we pull into the lot. He comes home tired and sleeps so we can either relax or go out for the night and not be given the pathetic ""you're leaving me?..."" look.
We don't worry about a thing when he's there. It's very clean, well staffed, and the other dogs are healthy - they do a great job pre-screening and keeping up to date on shots, etc.
I think their grooming/bathing services are a great value. He's got a lot of fur and takes a lot of time to groom/bathe and I've never found a significantly better price, and you know that unlike most groomers you don't have to worry about him sitting in a cage until you pick him up.
Let's be honest - dog day care costs a few bucks, but the biggest compliment I can pay Camp Bow Wow is that despite the cost, I never regret dropping off the dog for the day (which we do 2 times a week at least). It always feels like money well spent.

We take our dog here twice as a week, because, as two working adults, we are concerned that we don't get her enough exercise.
She always comes home happy and exhausted (that's a good thing).
We have tried several other camps in Denver, and we decided on this one after a few test days. Dogs have a way of telling you whether they like a place or not -- our dog now recognizes Camp Bow Wow LoDo and gets excited before she goes in. We had taken her to another place before we tried this one and on the second day she was scared and growled at the guy at the front desk -- our dog is not a growler. We didn't take her back -- and good thing!
Here, most of the camp counselors know her by name now and I always feel good about leaving her there for the day. Hovey is a sensitive dog but she feels right at home at Camp Bow Wow LoDo!
I've also been impressed by the staff -- they're very professional and customer-service oriented. They also send out great coupons every now and then!
The Doggie Cams are pretty cool too -- I don't necessarily watch them, but the fact that they have them means that they're good to the animals.
They will also feed your dog lunch (a big bonus) for free if you want them to.
We've used their bath services a couple of times -- it's $38, which I think is a bit pricey (the camp bow wow in boulder was only $15 for a bath), but they seem to do a good job and she smells good when she's done.
Overall, a great place!
