Fantastic store!

Wow, what a great store! So friendly, not pushy at all, and a great selection of dresses without being overwhelming. All quality pieces from respected design houses, this is not David's Bridal junk and as such, if you're looking for a gown under a grand, this isn't really your place. They welcomed me and my friends, were very attentive, and offered great suggestions. They didn't even flinch at the fact that I have bright blue and purple hair. Friendly, respectful, the whole game. It's rare I am so happy with a store. Truly above and beyond the rest.

Best in Denver

I had a really good time at Blue. The sales people were all very kind and were able to provide advice on what they thought would be the best dress for me. Other stores were really pushy and I felt like they really wanted to push my budget and convince me to like a dress just to make a sale. At Blue everyone was really focused on finding a dress they were sure I loved. I would really recommend this store, they were great.

Small Shop - Awesome Dresses

This place is busy, but it was worth the few extra minutes I had to spend. It was nice for once to go to a bridal place that was not stuffed full of junk, Blue had a nice clean arrangement of very nice gowns. I was not overwhelmed by their selection and their sales people were very nice - not pushy. Lots of their dresses were in a great price point without compromising the style I was looking for - which was a major plus!!!

I must say I was suprised when I walked into Blue last Sunday. The atmosphere was unlike any shop I had been to in town. They had some crazy patterned wall paper on one wall, interesting lighting and beautiful dresses. Their look was a loft vibe, which was nice because they are downtown, however, it was still welcoming and cozy. I was also impressed by their staff. The girls there really cared that I was happy with the dress I decided to buy. At one point I walked out and one of the girls stated that this was not my dress and it was written all over my face. It made me feel good that they were honest and not trying to just sell me something to make a sale. When I did find the dress it was 10% off because it was a designer trunk show that weekend. I was very impressed and very happy with Blue, I would highly recommend them to any bride to be!

Love the store and staff

I walked in without an appointment and a fear that nothing would fit me. The owner, Aubrie and associate Hannah were GREAT! I had an awesome experience. We pulled at least seven dresses, I fell in love with#2! Aubrie instantly gave me a discount. The only problem was when I went to pay. Their credit card system authorized my card twice. Since the store closes early, I couldn?t resolve the issue with my bank until late morning! To make it up to me Aubrie gave me a $100 off!

I purchased my wedding dress at Blue. The dress selection is small, but all the gowns are so beautiful. Best of all I felt like their staff really got to know me and were eager to make sure I had my dream dress. The remembered me every time I went back!!! Would highly recommend, Aubrie and Sarah are awesome!

not sure I'd recommend

I got my wedding gown from blue and had no problems at all with the gown. It was reasonably priced although I did find it for $200 less at another store in Westminster that looked like a run down version of David's bridal. But, that is where my praise for this store ends. I brough in a bridesmaid to pick out her dress and asked the girl in the shop to write down the colors so that we could call back to order since she was from out of town. Well, we called back to order and no one had written down the dress and sash colors in the file which ultimately led to them telling me the wrong color dress based on what they thought was closest to the color on their businness card which I was trying to match. So, instead of having light blue dresses with a chocolate brown sash, they ordered a much more purple periwinkle color with a chocolate brown sash. On top of that, they didn't order the dresses at all until it was almost too late because they were waiting for my other bridesmaid to place her order so they could order them together. They didn't even tell me that, I just happened to call and ask to make sure we were on top of things. Had I not asked we probably wouldn't have gotten the dresses ordered at all. Next came the tux problems. The groomsmen were all also out of state and when some hadn't gotten their measurements and deposits in, Blue called me to ask me to follow up. They offered to call all the guys if I would give them their numbers which I did. Well, same story as the bridesmaids dresses, I call to check and once again the store has dropped the ball. They didn't call and/ or left messages with the guys but never followed up beyond that. Turns out we had people attempting to call the store and getting no answer because they rarely answer their phone despite being empty literally everytime I've gone in their except once. Our best man left two messages on their answering machine trying to give them credit card info for his tux deposit and got no reply. On two occasions while in the shop dress/ veil shopping we had a bunch of teenagers come into the store off the mall to look for prom dresses/ play with wedding dresses. One time, a couple of what appeared to be young budding prison members stopped in to tell the sales girl how hot she was. The location doesn't help this store as a lot of the more colorful 16th street mall crowd is often milling about the pavillions and seems to find the bridal shop an interesting place to check out. This leads to some strange and awkward shopping experiences as the shop itself is staffed by some very young girls that would probably be better working at the Gap than a shop with the word couture in it's name. Anyway, the tux fittings were a disaster with every single tux having ot go back and new sizes sent out despite everyone being measure either by Blue or another proffesional tux rental shop. I had two people who couldn't go any shorter on their tux jackets due to having the shortest size already. One was offered to have the sleaves pinned up, one was not. They both dealt with the same sales girl. The only saving grace of this shop in my eyes is the truly beautiful not overwhelming dress selection that sits in the middle of the road in terms of prices. I can't help but wonder however if I had gone to one of the higher priced bridal shops that serves you champagne and staffs it's shop with snooty older saleswomen who have been doing there jobs for years, would I have had a much less stessful experience? I have a feeling all the things that went wrong with this shop would not have occured at another shop that paid more attention to detail. I guess there's no way to no that for sure however!

Could not have asked for more!

I had the best time with the girls at Blue as I found my perfect dress and everything that went with it. They really made sure I was the center of attention and even remembered my name each time I came in. I loved that they had so many different styles to choose from while still not being packed full with dresses. They never gave me a gown or time limit on my appointments. Everything about Blue felt relaxed and chic while still being professional. I felt like I was buying my dress with a bunch of my friends. I know I will tell everyone I know to start their gown search there.
